Anyhow, I am curious if you know the answer to this...I have HRD shut down, would this still affect CW Skimmer's ability to perform CAT? I must confess Julian I don't know what I'm doing here. I thought I had registered for the reflector but actually is was just for Nabble. So I got that straightened out, but not even sure if I am using it correctly...:-) So I did try (I just did a quick update on the relector) LP Bridge, at first I had it connected to the K3 fine, then suddenly it wouldn't do it anymore. Did some quick looking through the archives, but didn't find anything that suggested there was something amiss.and LP Bridge does look cool. Very frustrating...got a birthday party to go to now. Hopefully when I get back tonight I can have another go at it. In fact Skimmer like any other program would have trouble connecting to the K3 while HRD or anything else was running, unless you were running a serial port splitter like VSPE or LP-Bridge which I feel sure you're not. Either you've got the wrong settings or Skimmer doesn't like your USB to serial adapter. I can't think of any other explanation. It certainly would be worth trying LP-Bridge as that would (or at least should - I don't use HRD or LP-Bridge so I've never tried it) let you use Skimmer and HRD at the same time, which I imagine would be quite useful. - Julian, G4ILO.
