Hi Gang, I am selling my nearly fully loaded K2/10 (SN: 543). The radio is in very good condition and works great. It has a few very minor scuffs owing to many years of service as a FD radio. This radio was built by WW7Y in 1999 and I am the second owner. I built the accessory modules. All upgrades A>>B are done and the latest FW is installed. W3FPR performed some repairs, mods and aligned the rig in November 2010 along with fixing an open capacitor near the AUX RF header in March 2013. I'm selling to fund my VHF rover upgrades. [Elecraft] K2/10 for sale
I have a nicely completed K2, SN# 656, 10 watts, for sale. I'm the second owner (bought this back in March) and the original builder did a great job on it. All I've done since buying it is add the KBT2 internal battery kit. The previous owner also installed a Yaesu main tuning knob which I wasn't aware of until recently because I've never seen another K2 up close. It also has a Ten Tec handheld mike wired for it. It has: KSB2 SSB K160RX 160M KNB2 NB KAT2 ATU KAF2 audio filter KBT2 battery kit I also have, but have not installed, all of the upgrades to make it current. This would give you a little of the "kit experience" when you install all of these. Looks like a new kit would run about $1400-1500 on the Elecraft ordering page. I would sell it all for $1000. I have K2/10 Serial No. 00589 for sale. The unit is equipped with the KSB2 SSB board and the KNB2 noise blanker. Beyond that, the rig is stock. This is a Revision A board and is equipped with Version 1.04d firmware. I am not the rig's first owner. It arrived at my QTH with some wiring problems, which I have corrected. The rig is in operating condition, everything works, but could stand an alignment/filter setup session. Cosmetically, the little rig looks very good - no scratches on the cabinet or the front panel. The manuals, the RF Probe (unassembled) and the frequency counter cable are included. K2/10 serial number 5149, built by me in '05. Excellent condition (I can send pictures of the rig). Included are the following options: KSB2, K160RX, K60XV, KAFL, Finger Dimple and the MIC adapter from the Rework Eliminator folks (currently configured for an ICOM element). I have all of the documentation. The total cost of the kit and options today is $1056.45. The rig works very well, and puts out >10W on all bands. My only disappointment is the audio filter, but since I am a rather ham fisted (or not, I guess) cw op, and I work 95% SSB, I may not be able to appreciate that option. I recently re-aligned all of the filters using Spectrogram. I am asking $800.00, or near offer, shipped and insured, USA only. I have two K2/10 and a K/3. I would like to sell one of my K/2. The one for sale has the following options: KSB2, KNB2, KAT2, K160RX, KIO2, KAF2 as well as the Elecraft USB cable for computer control. It basically has everything but the battery pack and 5 meter module, which my other K2 has. The radio works perfectly and has never had any issues. It had modules added and was aligned in October 2009 by an expert builder. Radio has had very little use, which is the only reason I am offering it for sale. I really can't justify keeping my K2 any longer now that I have the K3 (and a KX-1). So reluctantly I want to sell it. It is the 10W version with: KAT2 automatic atu KNB2 noise blanker KSB2 ssb option K60V 60m and transverter interface option FDIMP finger dimple KIO2 serial interface KBT2 internal battery kit (with brand new battery) Icom IC-HM12 microphone (electret). I have added two phono connectors at the rear giving access to tx audio and fixed level receive for psk31 etc. The serial number is 4930. I built most of the add-on boards but the main board was built by another UK amateur whose callsign escapes me. (I did not buy it directly from him). It has been utterly reliable in operation and is (in my opinion!) well calibrated. I have agonised over this for ages, but I really cannot justify keeping it as it is getting no use. It is in excellent condition in all respects, cosmetically there is hardly a mark on it. I'm looking at offers around £500. To buy this from the USA in kit form would cost about £1000.
