Yes, sort of. According to the published spec for duty cycle, it is.  
I've use mine that way a lot for FSK441, JT65, and ISCAT, and it worked 
fine. But I managed to fry something running JT65 for a while in a VHF 
contest, and it was NOT repaired under warranty. I feel that it should 
have been.

Use mine for RTTY contesting, little longer transmit and receive times. At
times the fan speed kicks up so keep an eye on the temp, but other than
that I would just try it and see. If it gets too hot it will fault off.

Can anyone share their experience using this amp in this mode? Is the
