Re: [Elecraft] Macro Question

2017-05-22 Thread Cady, Fred
Hi Roger,

You might try using MN255; to exit the menus instead of SWT09;

Cheers,

Subject: [Elecraft] Macro Question

I have two macros. One to turn off MICBIAS and MIC BTN. The second to turn
MICBIAS back on and set MIC BTN to Ptt UP.dn.

The first one works fine:
MN135;MP000;MN082;MP000;SWT09;
MN135 sets MICBIAS off and MN082 sets MIC BTN off. SWT09 exits the menu

When I go to set them back I use:
MN135;MP016;MN082;MP004;SWT09;
MN135, bit 4 sets MICBIAS back on. MN082, bit 2 sets Ptt UP.dn. SWT09 exits
menu.

When I go to use the mic, it does not work. When I look at the menu items they
are set correctly. To get the mic to work, I have to toggle MIC BTN manually.
Once I do that everything is fine.

Anyone have any idea if I’m doing something wrong or I am missing something
(probably something simple).

Thanks,
Roger

[Elecraft] Macro Question

2010-01-06 Thread Lance Collister, W7GJ
I am probably missing something somewhere, but how does somebody with a bad
memory
know where the various macros he developed were assigned?

I understand that under the CONFIG/MACRO setting is where you can assign the
macro,
but the key number or name is not displayed there - only FUNCTION and the
macro
number you are working with at the particular time of assignment. And in the
K3
utility, there is no assignment of the macros, so the K3 Utility seems to have
no
clue as to where you put the macro either.

What am I missing here? MNI TNX and VY 73, Lance

[Elecraft] Macro question

2009-11-25 Thread Randy Thompson K5ZD
What is the macro command to do the same function as pressing and holding
the NORM button?

I want to be able to mess with the various shift and width controls, but be
one button away from returning everything to the default or normal settings.

Randy,

Maybe I am dense this morning, but ---
I am not certain what you will gain by that - the NORM button does
exactly that already, why map this single button (knob press) into a
macro when it is right there on the front panel.

Mostly tap vs hold. Plus I wanted to do some other things with the VFOs in
the same macro.
