[Elecraft] QRP Contact
I thought I'd post this as a ray of hope to those hard core QRP ops out there. Conditions have been poor lately. I just worked N5PHT with 5 watts. My rst 559 and I sent him 599. Re: [Elecraft] QRP Contact
I hear N5PHT on 40M most mornings near sunrise during my commute here on Cape Cod (Massachusetts). I believe he runs a 2 element yagi at 85 feet, so if you worked him on 40M, that probably helped a bit :-) - good DX, probably grayline, for sure! 73, geoff - W1OH David Walker wrote: I thought I'd post this as a ray of hope to those hard core QRP ops out there. I've been thinking that I need to get up earlier. I'm trying to complete QRP WAS before the end of the year; I've filled in most of the western US but have lots of those little States to reach yet! Condx at night are often good - I hear W4NJ and N5BP regularly from FL - but I suspect most ops are asleep by the time I get the K2 warmed up... 73 de chris K6DBG ___ Elecraft mailing list Post to: Elecraft@mailman.qth.net You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
