[O] Feature request: don't store bookmark for some capture templates

2012-05-25 Thread XeCycle
Hello,

I want to disable the behaviour for org-capture to store a
bookmark pointing to the last stored item, preferably for some
templates. No documentation for this, so I looked into the
source --- seems we're storing the bookmark unconditionaly.

Do tell me if I should upgrade my org mode.

org-version 7.8.09
emacs-version 24.1.50.1

Thank you.

[O] Bug: %?%i in org-capture-templates

2011-11-12 Thread XeCycle
Hello.

I have an template entry in org-capture-templates like this:

(s Software usage notes entry
 (file ~/workspace/notes/software.org)
 * %^{Title} %^g\n\n  %?%i)

When the active region is more than one line, the %i is indented on
every line by literal %?, which is not desired, I'm afraid. Only the
%? on the first line gets snipped and cursor is placed there.

My environment:

emacs-version 24.0.91.2
org-version 7.7

Re: [O] Time range end in agenda view not displayed

 Hi everyone,

I'm having a problem with the agenda view, hopefully someone can tell me
 what I'm doing wrong:

When I have an entry that contains a time range, for example:

 * timerange
   2011-09-30 Fri 14:00--2011-09-30 Fri 18:00

I think they should look like 2011-09-30 Fri 14:00-18:00.

this shows up in the agenda view as:

   uni:14:00.. timerange

while I would expect something like:

   uni:14:00-18:00 timerange

 as the manual says
 (http://orgmode.org/org.html#Time_002dof_002dday-specifications).

 Thanks for any help,
 michael

[O] Multiple capture within one buffer?

2011-09-20 Thread XeCycle
Hello, I'm trying out org mode capture now. It's great. However, what
if I want to capture multiple items? Do I have to C-c C-c and restart
the capture many times?

Hope there's a quicker way. Thank you.

I don't understand. Can you be more explicit?

Sorry. I mean to port Org mobile to Java ME platform --- has anyone
worked on that? Now Org mobile is on iOS platform, and we need Apple
devices to run it. I don't have one, but my phone supports Java ME.
Also Android supports Java ME.

 Thanks,

To my best knowledge, Andoid does not support Java ME. It uses a
flavour of Java, but not ME.

Sorry for this...

 From wikipedia:

   Android
   ===

The Android open-source software stack consists of Java applications
running on a Java-based, object-oriented application framework on top
of Java core libraries running on a Dalvik virtual machine featuring
   JIT compilation.

   Java Platform, Micro Edition

There are more than 2.1 billion Java ME enabled mobile phones and
PDAs,[2] but it is becoming old technology as it is not used on any of
today's newest mobile platforms (e.g. iPhone, Android, Windows Phone
   7, MeeGo, BlackBerry's new QNX).

Today's newest mobile platform does not necessarily mean today's newest
phones --- still there are some less expensive phones supporting Java
ME.

And there is already MobileOrg for Android:

   https://github.com/matburt/mobileorg-android/wiki/

Well, that's fine.

 Bye,
 Tassilo
