Hi Rich, As you said we do not want to continue this thread but as a final word I feel I must state that I totally agree with your email. Thanks for all your efforts to date, I am sure they are well appreciated by the forum. So the problem continues to be unresolved? I do not agree about the "naming names" policy, but will honor it since the list rules require it. Derek.
Administrative message: allegations of non-compliance
The recent string with the subject "OK, what's going on?" alleges that a named manufacturer's product does not comply with a requirement. Administrative message: allegations of non-compliance
I read in !emc-pstc that Rich Nute wrote (in <200303281640.iaa07...@epgc264.sdd.hp.com>) about 'Administrative message: allegations of non-compliance' on Fri, 28 Mar 2003: >The recent string with the subject "OK, what's going on?" >alleges that a named manufacturer's product does not >comply with a requirement. Was there a name? I didn't see one. If there was, it certainly raises serious legal issues in UK. It's called 'defamation of goods'. -- Regards, John Woodgate, OOO - Own Opinions Only. http://www.jmwa.demon.co.uk Interested in professional sound reinforcement and distribution?
