Re: [Emc-users] OT: Chinese servo motor

2012-04-25 Thread Leonardo Marsaglia
I didn't ask for quotation on that site Andrew. But it seems that they are
all the same, or at least that's what they look like. Every servo motor and
drive that I was checking for looks the same (same exterior, colors and
even the shape of motor and driver). So I think they will be in the same
range of prices, also the model number of the motors of different sellers
is the same.

It happens the same here in Argentina, there are several places where you
can buy stepper motors, and they all have the same driver but in different
color and with his own brand, all of them come from China suppliers.

finally arrives here and I test it I'm going to post the good news.

Hi,

I never used them, but a respectable seller in europe sell them for
typical CN use:

Again, I never use them, so, other advice would be welcome.

James, here in my country, Argentina, there are suppliers that sell yaskawa
motors, but the price is four times the price for a chinese driver, and the
connectors and cables are not included. I'm going to check out on ebay to
see if there are some good priced yaskawa servo motors, but I don't think
any other servo motor can be cheaper as the chinese.

Hi Leonardo,

I got similar chinese motors (MiGe with Maxsine EP2 drivers) from
http://hzmgdj.en.alibaba.com/
Used them with analog control. Can't find anything bad to say, all looks
very good for the price. 2500ppr encoders, all cables and connectors
included.
Just choose the drives carefully, there are two series: position control
only, and position+velocity+torque.
