Re: [Emc-users] Terminal Strips (a little OT)
www.alliedelec.com www.mouser.com and yuo already got a link to digikey. those are the best places to look that I know of. Re: [Emc-users] Terminal Strips (a little OT)
Thanks for the reply John. I am looking for panel mount. The density is good on the ones in your link, but they are almost two inches wide. I stumbled across these at digikey: http://www.molex.com/cmc_upload/0/000/865/824/3910008XX.pdf I may try to make these work. Thanks (I suppose, if I converted my mill to EMC, I could make my own terminal strips) Kirk Wallace On Tue, 2007-07-17 at 15:57 -0400, John Kasunich wrote: > Kirk Wallace wrote: > > I need to make wire terminations on .25 inch or less spacing for my > > encoders and limit switches. For chassis mount, I prefer DIN rail stuff, like the ones along the bottom of this pic: http://jmkasunich.dyndns.org/shoptask/power-input-front.jpg Automation Direct sells them, some data is here: http://web2.automationdirect.com/static/specs/dinfeedthru.pdf For board mount, you might find something you like here: http://dkc3.digikey.com/PDF/T072/P0289.pdf Unfortunately good connectors and terminal blocks aren't cheap - $0.50 per terminal or so. It adds up if you need a lot. I tend to scrounge as much as possible - surplus, ebay, etc. Good hunting, John Kasunich - This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML. [Emc-users] Terminal Strips (a little OT)
I need to make wire terminations on .25 inch or less spacing for my encoders and limit switches. I have found datasheets on .25 inch barrier and NEMA strips, but I haven't found a supplier yet. Does anyone have a favorite high density terminal system and supplier? And while I am at it -- liquid tight, oil resistant cable boots or gland nuts? Thanks.
