[Evolution] Evolution choking on recieving 1 or 2 msgs from pop

2007-05-13 Thread Rick Berger
Just upgraded to Ubuntu's Feisty Fawn 7.04 and I'm trying to go back to
Evolution 2.10.1 for my email. When Evolution tries to get the mail from
the pop server it chokes after getting the first or second message.
Clicking on cancel for the hung get mail produces an error of 'Error
while Fetching Mail. Cannot get message ... : Unknown reason' on the
first invocation. Follow tries do the same thing but with the error of
'Error while Fetching Mail. Cannot get message ... : No such file or
directory'.

Any suggestions on what I've done wrong.

Rick

[Evolution] setting all-day calendar event for multiple days

2007-05-13 Thread carpetnailz
Using Evolution 2.10.1 (from Ubuntu Feisty Fawn)

When I try to set an all-day calendar event for several days by putting
in one date in the first "time" field and then the later date in the
second "time" field, the program insists on changing the date in the
first field to a totally irrelevant date. How can I get it to keep the
date that I typed in?

E.g., I type in 05/28/07 in the first field, tab to the next field, type
in 06/01/07 and it changes the first field to 06/01/2000.

This didn't happen with the previous version of evolution that I was
using.

Thanks.

[Evolution] Printing problem on Evo 2.10

2007-05-13 Thread Garrick Cobcroft
Hello,

Firstly my apologies if this has been discussed before but I have been
unable to find any info via Google etc. I have been running Evolution
on a Mandriva 2007.0 laptop for sometime now, with connection to
Exchange server. Most functions have been stable enough for me to put
all production systems on Evo. However, since upgrading to Evo 2.10 I
can no longer print emails.

If I select Print from the Email preview window, the Print button in the
pop up dialog is disabled for both my printers, Brother MFC7420 printer
and fax. If I select the Print to File option, this enables the print
button and allows me to create a PDF file. Viewing the PDF file in
Acrobat viewer shows it to be created OK, but then trying to print the
PDF results in a page where every character is replaced by a lower case
o.

Thanks for any help that can be offered.

[Evolution] Question

2007-05-13 Thread Bajard Yves
I have set up my computer to use Mandriva 7001,0 and/or Ubuntu 704.

Is there a possibility for Evolution to be common to those two
distributions, so that I do not have two different sets of contents for
my mailboxes?

I have crated a separate folder, linked it to the two home folders in
order to hold all the data and the processes I am using indifferently
for any of the two distributions.

Best regards,

Yves Bajard
