Hi !

I am not entirely sure which package that is, however here is
everything i can apt search with "webkit"

gir1.2-webkit2-4.0/testing,now 2.20.3-1
amd64 [Installiert,automatisch]
libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37/testing,now 2.20.3-1
amd64 [Installiert,automatisch]
libwebkitgtk-1.0-0/testing,now 2.4.11-4
amd64 [Installiert,automatisch]

This is an up-to-date current debian testing buster installation.
Is that helping ?

Hi,
it sounds like this bug:

It references also a webkit bug.

[Evolution] Error running STATUS: Server sent unexpected response: Bogus

2018-06-20 Thread Siv
Hi,

In evolution on Mint 17.3 (Evolution version 3.18.5.2) when running a
send/receive I am getting:

"Error running STATUS: Server sent unexpected response: Bogus".

Would anyone have an idea what this is caused by? The email account is
set up as imap+ and using ssl on both inbound and outbound.

[Evolution] GPG per recipient rules

2018-06-20 Thread Mag. Dr. Karl Kashofer
Dear All !

I am a new user of evolution, had to switch from thunderbird as i
suddenly was forced to use Microsoft Exchange Protocol for email
retrieval...

Anyway, so far i am happy with Evolution, it has really matured.

However, there is one feature i think is missing in Evo thats present
in TB, and that are per-Recipient settings for GPG. Its a sad fact that
only a handful of my contacts can use GPG encryption, however i would
really like to keep encrypting my mail to these few recipients. In
Evolution i can only find the "encrypt all email" setting in the
account settings which is sub-optimal. It forces me to either remember
to press "encrypt" every time i email one of the select contacts that
have GPG or to unclick "encrypt" in every email to all the other
contacts which dont use GPG and where encryption fails due to missing
GPG keys.

Did i miss the correct setting somewhere ? Is there a simple solution ?

Thanks for your help,
Cheers,
KK

[Evolution] Vanishing Text

2018-06-20 Thread Mag. Dr. Karl Kashofer
Dear All !

I use Evolution 3.28.2-1 on Debian Buster under Wayland and have a
problem with text highlighting.

When i write an email and double-click text in the editor window the
text vanishes after the third click. I.e. double-click highlights the
text and if i then click again the text vanishes. It seems to be a bug
and not a feature as even ctrl-z does not bring the text back.

Can anyone try to reproduce that ? Any idea what to do ?

thanks,
KK

Hi Pete
It is writeable by the user, and readable, but still getting cache
error messages,
I suspect this is known about and will dissappear when linux Mint 19 is
released at the end of the month with Evo 3.28, instead of 3.18 which
is in use at the moment.
There are applications that although started by a user do not run as
that user, hence the question.

If you are getting permission denied errors then yes, the cache needs
to be writeable by the user - but why would a user's cache directory
not be owned by the user themselves?

Hi,
it's because the minimum width constraint of the left-bottom mini-
calendar and because the left panel width is shared between views. I do
not know whether there's a bug to not share the left panel width
between views, but to have it separate for each view.

That works fine on my computer until I go to the Calendar tab. Then the
side bar width is reset to what it was and can no longer be dragged
narrower in the Mail tab. Restarting Evolution will allow the Mail side
bar to be narrower until I go to the Calendar again. Dragging wider is
not affected.

Andre, is this maybe because of a minimum width imposed in the Calendar
tab, either by default or because of a calendar name that is
restricting the width?
