hi Experts,

I'm in a great problem as i'm beginner in macros.I have created a template 
in which the data would be extracted on basis on 3 criterias.However, by 
using macro, i'm unable to extract it.For criterias, i have created 
drop-down list by using Data validation & name manager.

Now first problem is if i add some data in "base data" then it is not 
updated in Drop downs & second problem is based on criteria, data is not 
extracted.I don't know where i'm lagging behind.please help me with the 
solution.

1307050837 => Year Month Date Hour Minutes (In Two Digit each)

If We want to create backup before user make some change in workbook, put
that on Workbook_Open event
If we want to create backup while saving workbook, then put that code to
Workbook_BeforeSave, and change fTag to "AfterEdit"

That tag will make us more clearly to identify the file, from where that
file edited, by who, and when the do that

VBA...given good idea..I havn't tried it. Yet, you can write below code. It
will SaveAs your backup file automatically every time you close your main
workbook to the destination of your choice by overwriting previous one.
Just copy and paste below in "ThisWorkbook" module. Change the path
highlighted below.

Can you please help me out in automating chrome from vba excel just like we
do through internet explorer. i need to extract data and also print the
webpage. i am able to do it through internet explorer. Can we do the same
through chrome as i need it as the website supports chrome better than
internet explorer.
If we can do it, can you please show me few of the steps to open and
navigate through the elements of it.

$$Excel-Macros$$ To create drop down list for many IDs as per many lists

Hi Friends,

I have attached Excel file for the reference.
I am unable to create a list for each ID as there are such 1200 lists
for many IDs. So I need formula or vba macro to create such drop down
lists for every Id given in the column A so that I can select required
option from the drop down list for every ID. Appreciate your help.

Detailed explanation is given in the attached sheet.

Please help.

PFA, You have to ensure criteria range is in same sheet in which you apply
filter.

Hi Be Tran Van,

Thank you for your quick help.

However, in my original workbook there are total 1200 lists and its
quite time consuming job to create named range for all 1200 lists and
then to specify the source for all the lists for data validations.

Could you please suggest shortcut way/method so that I can create
named range for all and then drop down list using data validation.

I think, we can use vlookup, vba code to specify the named range and
then to create data validations. But how, I really don't know.

Appreciate your help.
