open the tracking logs with notepad or gnu emacs or whatever you prefer and
search for the competitors domain name in the logs. It will not be solid
proof at this point but it will give clues. Depending on what authority you
have to search mailboxes, this should narrow down the search. Please keep
in mind that hard deleted mail can be retrieved, depending on your deleted
item retention time. (must be set ahead of incident)
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q246/1/53.ASP will explain
how to recover hard deleted items (items that have been shift+deleted from
any outlook folder)
http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q228/9/34.ASP will explain
deleted item recovery and the settings on a 5.5 server.

The second article has very similar steps to setting Exchange 2000 deleted
retention time. The first will apply to both 5.5 and 2000.

Exchange SDK Workflow USA

2001-11-03 Thread WebMeister

I tried to install this on my E2K server but kept hanging about 15% of
the way through (or so I thought). I was looking at my public folder
structure and it created 8700 folders under public\templates and
public\templates\1033. All have either the same alias of public or
public\1033 but different email addresses.

Has anyone dealt with this or are you using anyones specific SDK for
workflow and collaboration?

Lotus Notes Connector

2001-11-03 Thread Bowles, John L.

All,

We have a Notes connector (4.6) that connects to our parent company's Notes
server. They just upgraded their server to R5 and now we can only get mail
to flow from Notes to Exchange 5.5 but NOT vice versa. We have all the
Notes users in a container on our 5.5 server and I noticed when opening up
the custom recipients that there were some changes to the email addresses.
They had SMTP addresses of ours([EMAIL PROTECTED]) and X.400 addresses of
ours and their Notes address which was correct. It seemed that everytime
someone would send me a message and i tried to reply, the reply address was
the SMTP address instead of the user's Notes address. Has anyone ran across
this problem before? Please advise.

Thank you,

John Bowles
