Roger,

Sorry if this seems like a stupid question...

When you have a mixed site (basically two servers within the same site - 5.5
& 2000), where would you find that connection information between the two
server to be able to change it?

Stephen,

This is about the only error that I seen in the App log on the Exchange 5.5
server that mentions the Exchange 2000 server. (I see nothing of interest in
the App log on the Exchange 2000 server.)

Event ID: 290

Category: X.400 Service

A non-delivery report (reason code unable-to-transfer and diagnostic code
unrecognised-OR-name) is being generated for message C=US;A=

RE: Mail not flowing in mixed site

2001-11-12 Thread Roger Seielstad

Sounds like there is a configuration error at one end of that x.400
connector.

My guess is that either the X.400 standards settings (version/year, two way
alternate, etc) are set wrong, or there is a name resolution issue between
the servers. Make sure the X.400's are using IP addresses, not FQDN's or
hostnames, when referring to the machine at the other end of the link.
