Has anyone else been having issues with the Remote Connectivity Manager over
the last couple days? I've been getting periodic SSL errors when connecting to
it, and even when I don't get that I get error messages from the web app that
don't say much other than unexpected error has occurred.

I'm kind of hoping it actually is borked rather than it just being me, but I
tend to be lucky like that.

Now why would I do something that logical? ;)
I sent something to them but figured I'd try the equivalent of is it down for
everyone or just me as an extra step.

US-CERT Current Activity

Fraudulent DigiNotar SSL Certificate

Original release date: August 30, 2011 at 8:40 am
Last revised: August 30, 2011 at 8:40 am

US-CERT is aware of public reports of the existence of at least one
fraudulent SSL certificate issued by DigiNotar. This fraudulent SSL
certificate could be used by an attacker to masquerade as any
subdomain of google.com.

Mozilla will be releasing new versions of Firefox for desktop (3.6.21,
6.0.1, 7, 8, and 9) and mobile (6.0.1, 7, 8, and 9). Additional
information can be found in the Mozilla Security Blog.

Microsoft has removed the DigiNotar root certificate from the
Microsoft Certificate Trust List. This change affects all versions of
Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Server 2008
R2.  Microsoft will be releasing a future update for Windows XP and
Windows Server 2003 to address this issue.  Additional information can
be found in Microsoft Security Advisory 2607712.

US-CERT encourages users and administrators to apply any necessary
updates to help mitigate the risks. US-CERT will provide additional
information as it becomes available.

RE: Rules on e2k3 ent

This is usually due to delegate permissions.

Subject: Rules on e2k3 ent

I have a client who everytime someone emails him a calendar invite his former
assistant sends back and ndr. I think one of their admins deleted the account
and he must have a rule somewhere but I cannot find it in owa or on the clients
outlook. I couldn't remember if mdbvu lets me look at rules or see if anything
corrupt is on the store that we don't see in OL/OWA...

I turned message tracking back on, but seems as if I have to restart the IS for
that to kick in ... which wont be until late this evening ..

Thx

RE: Rules on e2k3 ent

2011-08-30 Thread Ralph Smith
We had an employee who, every time she invited a certain person to a
meeting, received a message from a former employee who has passed away.
She was so freaked by this that she was afraid to tell anyone and was
convinced the deceased employee was somehow haunting her. It was only
when I noticed the message in her inbox, while addressing a different
issue, that she let me know this had been going on for six months.

It was in this case due to delegate permissions as Michael indicated.
