Nevermind, actually clicking into it, it becomes more informative. Still,
saying upfront how much SPAM your network generates isn't a huge selling
point.

I don't see anywhere that it is blocking SPAM generated by Yahoo. It
could mean that it is blocking SPAM generated from other providers as
well as their own network.

Not entirely an Exchange issue but sort of and I can't seem to put my finger on
a solution.
E2k7, Olk 2K7, Win 7 Ent client. Single user has the issue of emails filtering
sporadically when in cached mode (all come in on his Blackberry) everything
shows up when in non cached mode (or OWA) BUT there are an ever growing number
of items in his Outbox that, while they never go away, they are getting
delivered and this shows up in both modes. I've done a repair install with no
change.
Any ideas are appreciated.

RE: Exchange 2003 / 2010 Public Folder Re-appears

Subject: Exchange 2003 / 2010 Public Folder Re-appears

OK, I already feel stupid and asking this question makes it worse.

I am at the end of my Exchange 2003 to 2010 migration. I believe I have moved
all of the public folders to 2010 and removed the 2003 replicas from all the
public folders.

However - there is a set of folders I've been trying to delete without success.
It has 6 sub-folders and 1 sub-folder under each of them.
I've tried deleting the top folder from 2003 and tried deleting it from 2010;
but the continue to re-appear after a short while.

What am I missing here? How can I permanently get rid of these folders?

Thank you!

Mobile Attachment Appearance Problem ...

2011-12-02 Thread Adm
ATT Pantech Pocket (Android device)
Corporate Executive owned

He receives *many *emails with attachments on his mobile version of his
corporate email.
Since we switched him from Exch 2003 to Exch 2010, he is having problems
seeing some of the attachments???
Some times they appear and are accessible. Sometimes they are not.
I got my hands on one of each and the headers don't seem any different.

He seems to be the only person with this problem out of 8000 migrated so
far.

Anyone else have this problem??

Thx in advance

What is the mail clinet?

Have you tried using Touchdown?

ActiveSync issues w/ iPhone, iPad, Droid

2011-12-02 Thread Cesare' A. Ramos
Hellos all.

I have hit a wall here and trying to see the groups thoughts on this one.

I am receiving the following message on the MS Exchange server.

Event ID: 3005

Unexpected Exchange mailbox Server error: Server: [Server.Domain.local] User:
[u...@domain.com] HTTP status code: [409]. Verify that the Exchange mailbox
Server is working correctly.

It is a MS SBS 2003 server. This occurs whenever a new user is configured for
access to e-mail via an iPhone, iPad, or Droid. The configuration on the
mobile devices is accepted but on the first sync attempt, the device fails and
the above error is displayed in the Application Event log.

What adds some confusion to this is that there are 2 active users that are
fully functional with the use of ActiveSync. The domain administrator and the
owner of the business are both fully functional and can be recreated on
alternative devices.

I have reviewed and compared their authorities to those of the users that don't
work, reviewed IIS, and Exchange configs and can make no sense of this.
Microsoft knowledgebase has been of no help.

Anyone have any ideas or run into this before?

Any help or thoughts are appreciated.
Sincerely,
Cesare' A. Ramos
