I increased the logging on the server to expert and when I create a meeting I
can see the event in the event viewer The Resource Booking Attendant for the
mailbox etc...
But when I create the same meeting in the meeting room that is not working it
is not being processed by the Resource Booking Attendant.

When I review the Get-CASMailbox I can see the following entry faulty room

ProtocolSettings  : {HTTP§1§1§§, OWA§1}
All the other rooms have
ProtocolSettings  : {}

Only this meeting room as this entry -

Excuse my ignorance but I can't find how to set the meeting room to be
ProtocolSettings : {}

?

Then I got nothing. All I can suggest is that you check out delegates,
permissions, Get-Mailbox, Get-CasMailbox, Get-CalendarProcessing,
Get-MailboxCalendarConfiguration.

Somewhere, something is different.

No,

But I did move the meeting room to another DB. And the issue is still occurring.
I can also confirm that the meeting rooms settings are identical.

The bizarre thing is that in a day or 2 the meeting room will process the
request and the user will get a message to say the room is booked etc..

Are the bad room and the good room in different mailbox databases?

Bump.

I am still randomly seeing this issue.

A meeting request goes into the meeting room as tentative and after X amount of
days or hours - the meeting gets processed and responds to the user.

Anyone see this behaviour before?

Hi All,

Quick one -
Exchange 2007 Sp3.
Any outlook client that creates a meeting in a meeting room does not get an
email notification from the meeting room resource.
If I look at the mailboxcalandersettings for the room is says
AutomateProcessing : AutoAccept

I have tried the following without success

· Manually set it to AutoAccept again

· Restarted the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Assistants

· Moved the meeting room resource to another database

If I log into the meeting room resource I can see all the meeting requests
waiting to be processed.
All the meeting request in the resource are showing up as tentative

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

I compared the room to another room and the settings are both identical - but
this room does not work.

Subject: Exchange 2007 Autodiscovery

Greetings Gurus,

Our company was recently acquired by another company. We are in the process of
migrating our email from our domain to theirs. The problem is, once a mailbox
is moved from Domain 1 to Domain 2, if you try to login to a different computer
(in Domain 1) than your primary computer, the local autodiscover service points
you to Domain 1 rather than Domain 2. S, we need to turn off the
autodiscover service on Domain 1. Is that easily done?

Thanks all,

Rob
