ActiveSync DevicePhoneNumber Missing

Hub Transport Rule question (Exchange 2007)
Hello, How does Hub Transport rule apply to the message? One article says: If a message belongs to 3 (three) separate rules, all rules will be applied on the message always respecting the priority of the rules. For example, I created 2 Hub Transport rules for disclaimer setup. Rule 1 for a specific distribution group (or email domain) with priority 0. Rule 2 for all users with priority 1. The user in the specific distribution group got 2 disclaimer attached because all rules will be applied on the message. I may be able to set up an exception on Rule 2 to exclude that specific distribution group, but would like to know if there is a better way to do? Load Balancing Incoming Email Using DNS MX Records
Hello, It seems there are two ways to load balancing incoming email using DNS MX records. Method 1: Multiple MX records with equal priority. Method 2: One MX record with multiple IP address. What's the pros and cons? Somebody suggested the Method 1, because multiple MX entries with the same priority will cause the mail to be delivered faster to the alternative server if the first one it tries is unavailable. Is that right? Thanks, This email and any files transmitted with it are solely intended for the use of the addressee(s) and may contain information that is confidential and privileged. Outlook 2007 Cached Exchange Mode Best Practice
Hello, It seems turning on Outlook 2007 Cached Exchange Mode is a best practice. http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook-help/best-practices-for-outlook-2007-HA010371521.aspx The first step in following these best practices is to set up a system to optimize how you use Outlook 2007. It is considered best practice to have the following: ... Cached Exchange Mode turned on. http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/01/15/432199.aspx Outlook 2007 in Cached Mode is important for reducing server I/O as much as 70% over Exchange 2003. The initial mailbox sync is an expensive operation, but over time, as the mailbox size grows, the disk subsystem burden is shifted from the Exchange server to the Outlook client. We have 2000+ Outlook 2007 clients with half laptops and half desktops. Are there any considerations or side effects if we turn on Cached Exchange Mode companywide? Lots of cmd.exe processes on Mailbox Server
Hi, There are lots of cmd.exe processes running on our clustered Mailbox server. Is this an issue or not? We haven't seen any issue in Event log, and no SCOM alerts related to this as well. Exchange 2007 Failure DSNs
Hello, It seems our Exchange server is bouncing DSNs (or Non-Delivery Notifications) to SPAM like emails. For example, if an email sent to an email address which does not exist, the Exchange server will bounce an Undeliverable notification to sender's address. Is this a concern and how to fix it safely? Question about Exchange Mailbox Information Store - Client RPC Latency
Hello, OpsMgr 2007 R2 monitors Exchange 2007 SP2 in our environment. Just notice the Client RPC Latency is getting higher and higher. MS document indicates the Client RPC Latency means numbers of client RPC transactions taking longer than 2/5/10 seconds of the selected Exchange mailbox servers over time. What does that exactly mean? How to fix this if it's significant?
