Arn't these stored in 'special' messages (of some sort) in the actual mailbox. If this is the case, this is where the space/message count could be. If so then the only way to see itis touse the old Exchange client to access the mailbox. When was the last time you did an offline defrag? I had a problem with the Exchange Administrator reporting very high numbers for a couple weeks and an offline defrag fixed it.
