Note vs Exch thingy again
This is for Michael, adding extra users in notes 4.x or 5.x is called "adding a data base" What it does is put another DB Icon on the "work space". The DBs are added via the users .id files. You can have up 95 DBs on any one "work space". The user then just selects the DB they want and it asks for their password. I always just named the DBs with the users name. It is kind of a pain in the ass I spent the better part of a week making the changes with pc anywhore to about 200 note clients. Sorry I can't be more detailed but I'm not running notes anymore. You must be connected to the domino server to make changes to notes. Matt List Charter and FAQ at: http://www.sunbelt-software.com/exchange_list_charter.htm

Wasn't that thread on the NT forum, Matt? I know it fits here better, but a few of the participants aren't here. Re: Note vs Exch thingy again
Almost forgot. You must have the .id file in the notes folder with the one you used on the original install. As you go to add a DB (user) you will be able to browse the domino server to find the DB you want. The domino server then uses the local .id file to authenticate the user to use the DB on the domino server after this takes place you can add what ever password you want on the note side. Once they are set up it not hard for the users to switch between DBs, just click on the icon enter your password and away they go. Re: Note vs Exch thingy again
Sorry man, I've been lucky for a while haven't been anywhere near domino or notes. Both just %$@%#*^%$*%(%(^% if you know what I mean. It's the whole virtual domain on top of a real domain thing. The names are very similar but oh so different. Like I said before I've finished my therapy and I'm not looking back.
