I'm
running the enterprise server2.1 w/sp3on a separate machine running
Win2k server. The issue that I have is that the blackberryserver
service hangs a lot and so users don't get their e-mail forwared to the
handheld. Sometimes the service shuts down but I have it configured to
automatically re-start. If I enable the e-mail notifications for BB
warnings I get a bunch of messages saying that the BB server has "health threats
issues". If anybody here had this issue and got it resolve it any
input would be very helpful. thanks.

Been using it here without
issue. Greatsystem but I agree about their
support.

Getting ready to
decommission my first server and their support said nothing was needed for
blackberry - then I dig some more and find an article warning about
it.

Oh
well.

We
have it working fine, It did take some tweaking to get it to work but the Folks
that I got @ BB helped me out well. Our's is a standalone server running Win2k,
the BB Enterprise Solution 2.1 (i think) and a SQL Footprint. It connects thru
the Network to our EX2K Box. Not sure about a 5.5 Implementation but send in
your questions and i'll try to help

Cheers!

RE: Blackberry Enterprise server for Exchange

2002-02-26 Thread Ken Leyba

We've been running for about 6 months with no issues, but have less than 20
BB users. I agree their support isn't the best. My first call to support
and I never received a call back. Luckily I figured it out myself. The
second time they answered the phone and I got a fix right away and they even
followed up twice, go figure. We are also Win2K w/Exchange 5.5 and the BB
server is a separate server.

I'm evaluating the Itrezzo agent too and we will be buying it this week if
my boss ever issues the P.O.
