RE: SP2 for Exchange 2007
I'm curious about this too as we've yet to update. Specifically, I remember some chatter about it possibly affecting spam tagging. Did anyone have trouble with that? We have a Barracuda spam/mail gateway. Re: SP2 for Exchange 2007
Hi all, Can I please ask does Exchange list itself as Version 8.2 once SP2 has been installed (in Server properties or Help, About Exchange Server 2007)? Thanks, Andrew 2009/12/16 Michael B. Smith mich...@smithcons.com OK, I’ve read that recently. (Can’t talk about some things until other people do – then they are public!) :-P As you probably know, the workaround is to drop the logging levels, and I don’t think a QFE was scheduled because the workaround is easy. It was scheduled to be fixed “soon”. It doesn’t affect Exchange 2010 because that feature didn’t make the RTM cut (and thus isn’t in Exchange 2010). *From:* Campbell, Rob [mailto:rob_campb...@centraltechnology.net] *Sent:* Tuesday, December 15, 2009 7:03 PM *To:* MS-Exchange Admin Issues *Subject:* RE: SP2 for Exchange 2007 Yes. *From:* Michael B. RE: SP2 for Exchange 2007
If you are upgrading a CCR cluster, be sure to follow the following article to a T. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676320(EXCHG.80).aspx I recently had some issues where the Transport Service (Hub) and the Mail Submission Service (Mailbox) would not start after upgrading to SP2. Installing the Rollup 1 for SP2 fixed the issue. Good luck!
