Re: Exchange Schema Extension

2002-07-11 Thread M2web

Sorry to get a bit late.
No errors on the E2K logs.
This morning I see the cn=ms-Exch-Schema-Version-Pt in the Schema master.
I'd imagine that this would have should up on the DC which it was run on
just as soon as the Prep was finished but would replicate to others
eventually.

Lpd.exe is a little more granular than ADSIEdit.

No errors in the application event log after running forestprep?
Or the Exchange2000 install log on c:\?

Thanks, using the Q article that you pointed I see the object but
reading the white paper from MS called In-Place Upgrade from Microsoft
Exchange 5.5 to Microsoft Exchange 2000, page 12 which points to the
same object but using LDP, I could not.

I have one forest and one domain.
I have run ForestPrep waited and then run DomainPrep, with no errors.
However when I try to manually look at the below object

  cn=ms-Exch-Schema-Version-Pt, cn=schema, cn=configuration, dc= my
  domain

to see that replication has occurred on any of the DCs including the
one that I ran the DomainPrep on, I do not find the object, should I
not see this object, would anyone point me to the problem.
