And RH have vi too (I've installed MDK and RH too in the same PC).

MDK still 99% compatible and its sucessufull is part ot that.
Why don't help RH users ? In future may become MDK...

[expert-it] RedHat KPPP Mini-How-TO

Ciao a tutti,

volevo avvertire che ho messo on line un piccolo how-to su come usare
riuscire a metterlo in pratica (altrimenti scrivete 8-)

http://www.fisica.unige.it/linuxgrp

I use konsole and colors are settable by menu.
My xterm appears colored as KDE because I put a "v" in a box (traslating from

I have installed a MDK 6.1 on i810 sucessfully.
You have to look at intel site... istruction to use module for i810 is
little wrong... but module works (fine too! ).

On the Mandrake 6.x CD there is a little distribuition that can stay on a single

Re: [expert] 6.1 bugs: rpm 2.2.13-22mdk kernel

I've upgraded 2.2.13-22mdk kernel with 2.2.13-29mdk kernel but now I see
in dmesg:

   p5_mmx: 774.954 MB/sec
   8regs : 410.337 MB/sec
   32regs: 236.220 MB/sec
using fastest function: p5_mmx (774.954 MB/sec)

insted of 879.??? MB/sec for p5_mmx.

Two questions:

1) this means that this kernel is slower (about 11%) than 2.2.13-22 or not ?
2) I'm sure have P][ why optimization for p5_mmx is better for me ?

Thanks.

Can we have the errors that the compilation threw out? It's most
likely that there is a kernel configuration problem.
