You may need to set the proxy setting for SSL through the proxy as well as http stuff. I have this setting for Netscape as 192.168.0.1 through 8080 port and this solved by SSL problems. I also hate that. I've already sent a message to the bank with no answer (1-2 days)... i've found i can make konqueror identify itself as IE but it hasn't worked.
