First try this page.

And set up a urpmi "link" for texstars rpms.

go here and grab his pgp signature and instructions on how to install
it.

Then do urpmi.update -a (make sure it is all in sync)

then 

urpmi --auto --auto-select 

This will update things to something that IMHO works really well.

Set up a urpmi source for the update repository and then either use the 
rpmdrake gui installer or urpmi --auto-select --update to patch your system 
with all the mandrake updates.  Note Texstars updates are not the same thing 
as Mandrake updates.
