URGENT CONFERENCE CALL FOR GOVERNORS AND SIDHAS
TO CREATE NATIONAL INVINCIBILITY

Dear Governors and Sidhas,

We will have a very important conference call this Thursday evening,
July 20, at 8:15pm for all Governors and Sidhas.

On the call, we will relay Maharishi's recent and urgent message about
creating National Invincibility and discuss how everyone can
participate very easily and comfortably. In the Washington DC and
Potomac Vedic America domains, we have over 700 Sidhas and Governors
on our contact list, and so with Maharishi's new guidelines and plans
you will learn on the call how the dear Governors and Sidhas of this
region are in a very unique position to create National Invincibility
for the US and Enlightenment for themselves. With Raja Dean in
Vlodrop and me here, we have the added strength of being able to relay
the messages quickly and act immediately.

To connect to the conference call, please dial 617-328-1785, code 908.
Also, please mind your emails closely as we may be communicating
frequently during this time.

I look forward to speaking with you then.

With warmest regards,

Jai Guru Dev,

Raja Bob LoPinto

[FairfieldLife] all are invited to Holland for Guru Purnima time

2006-07-01 Thread george_deforest
Invitation to Holland for all the Governors and Sidhhas

Dear Friends,

This evening Maharishi gave a kind invitation
for all the Governors and Yogic Flyers to come to Meru, Holland
for Guru Purnima Celebration that will take place starting
on the full moon day of 11 July.

Governors and siddhas are advised to come one or two days earlier
(on the 9th or 10th of July) if possible.

However if any country can gather in their nation
by Guru Purnima sufficient Yogic Flyers to create
national invincibility then all the Flyers should remain there,
and then Maharishi will talk to them daily from Holland
by phone or video conference.

The Governors and Yogic Flyers who come this time
will be asked to cover the direct costs of their stay,
which including hotel, food, buses etc may be approx
150 Euros per day.

The length of time for the Guru Purnima Assembly
is not set, it could be a week or ten days or even longer,
according to each person's own planning.

Maharishi would like to hear quickly how many are coming
from which country, so Please let us know as soon as possible
if you wish to attend the Guru Purnima celebration in Holland,
and if you could contact your friends (Governors and
siddhas) and get a response from them, and send us
their names and projected length of stay -- that
will be helpful in the planning for this Global event.

In order to fulfill the invitation of Maharishi,
and for those who are not able to join the assembly in Holland,
every TM Center will have a group program for sidhas
on the Guru Purnima day on July 11, 2006,
the program will start around 6:00 all will fly at 7:00

For those who wish to go to Holland please contact
your TM center or your TM teacher as soon as possible
in order to get the invitation for the Visa to Holland.

Thank you so much!

With All Best Wishes

Jai Guru Dev

[FairfieldLife] Maharishi: the press conference to end all press conferences!

2006-07-01 Thread george_deforest
Press Conference with Maharishi, JUNE 21, 2006

Maharishi: Jai Guru Dev. The press - the world press -
has put me in a difficult positionion.

I am busy in creating the effect. I am busy in laying out
an administrative policy for every country to have
a few hundred people create invincibility for the nation.

But the world press demands that - this is from
the long history of the Movement - weekly press conferences.

Then I wish to address to the worrld press today that
the success is so great that I don't have time
to speak now anymore [laughter].

Whatever I have spoken has been enough fruitful that
I don't have to speak now. I don't get time to speak.

Now I am busy in sorting out little, little details
of administrative values. Practical administrative values
have to be sorted out in every country, in every country,
even though the whole thing is automatic and it could go
without my any advice or anything.

But because it seems to be a new thing - people have been
suffering, and now the voice of the time is:
waves of bliss, waves of bliss, waves of bliss.

So now the world press will excuse me for my success -
that my success has put me on a level where I have
no time to talk to anyone.

I have only time to just - some missing area, some little thing.
They are the practical administrative values - practical
adminiistrative values for two hundred, four hundred,
these people to fly together.

So there is no more time to talk about the principles.
Principles have been talked, have been established,
have been verified by scientific research in all these years -
how many years.

And now there is time too structure the administrative procedures,
administrative procedures, for those four hundred, five hundred,
two hundred people everywhere to live in a way that
they don't fall off the grace of total invincibility.

So I'll be busy that way, and will not have much time
to speak about it.

So Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace
will inform the press that I'll be busy in
creating the effect, rather than talking about
the possibility of it, which I have been doing so far.

So speaking so far has been completely successful,
and now the success is [laughter] that I don't have time
to speak about the principle. I create the effect, effect, effect.

And creating effect, from country to country, from country
to country - from in thee first country, Holland, the country
of wholeness. It is about two months that the Yogic Flyers
in Holland have been creating that effect - intensive effect -
of coherence and positivity in the Dutch national consciousness.

And this has inspired the neighboring nations' Yogic Flyers
to follow the example of Holland. And they want to create
the same thing in their country, in their country.

So constantly, twenty-four hours, they are asking me.
They are asking me little, little things, and I am
not surprised, even those little, little things - but
I have to answer them.

Therefore, I am on a working mood now, shifting
from speaking to working, from speaking to working,
from speaking to working. Now let me enjoy [laughter]
for some time working.

And then, I don't have even to work;
I just see the bubbles of bliss, the waves of bliss,
moving from country to country, from country to country,
from nation to nation, from galaxy to galaxy, from galaxy
to galaxy - the whole galactic universe governed
by one Total Natural Law, the Will of God.

That will be witnessed in every country, in every country -
that administration. That administraation I am setting up
in country by country. In the national consciousness
of each country, growing in invincibility will prove
to everyone that all kinds of positivity is growing
in every country, and negativity subsiding, subsiding.

And after some time, nobody would know what negativity means.
Positive will be a natural, normal state of life.
Success will be natural, normal state of every action.
Then success will belong to every knowledge, because
knowledge will be complete - Vedic knowledge will
be complete - in the awareness os of everyone.

So all glory to Guru Dev. We are on the waves of bliss ourselves.
This is the supreme level of evolvement of life on earth.
And we are proud to be belonging to that level.
It's very good.

So, Prime Minister, thank the world press. And thank
the - this is also the succcess of the reporting of world press.
Now they have been reporting all kinds of negative things,
and now their pen will be reporting nice things,
like that, like that, like that.

So put them on a new world, and don't mind if I'm
not able to speak to them. Jai Guru Dev.

The Tower Cos. and Lerner Enterprises, both of North Bethesda, plan
to develop 2000 Tower Oaks Blvd. as the world's largest commercial
property applying both "green building" standards and Vedic design
principals advanced by the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to promote worker
productivity and health.

The two developers, which plan to move their headquarters into the
new Rockville building when it opens in 2008, said they are committed
to reducing energy consumption by 41 percent and water consumption by
48 percent. The developers plan to power the building using only wind-
generated electricity.

The 200,000-square-foot project is designed in collaboration with
Maharishi Global Construction of Fairfield, Iowa, which says on its
Web site that it is dedicated to "using laws of nature that connect
individual intelligence with cosmic intelligence."

The developers said they would create workspace that
enhances "productivity, creativity and success for tenants using
defined architectural concepts of orientation, proportion and
placement."

"People intuitively know that buildings affect us deeply and the best
buildings are those that make us feel good, and at their highest can
elevate your success," said Jeffrey S. Abramson, a Tower
partner. "That is what the Vedic approach brings to architecture."

[FairfieldLife] mounting concerns about TM org in Kansas

Meditation group brings more tension than harmony to farm town

http://www.whotv.com/Global/story.asp?S=5002842&nav=LotJ
WHO-TV Des Moines Wed, 07 Jun 2006 7:45 PM PDT

SMITH CENTER, Kan. Followers of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi see his
Transcendental Meditation movement as fostering world harmony.
But in the farm town of Smith Center, Kansas, T-M's plans to build its
"World Capital of Peace" are creating more tension than tranquility.

Folks became alarmed when the group bought up large tracts of land,
and nine local pastors warned the movement that Smith Center is a
Christian community.

Mayor Randy Archer says, "It hasn't split the community, but it has
caused a lot of tension."

The T-M movement plans to build a dozen marble "peace palaces."

Because Transcendental Meditation practitioners want to disperse
"waves of coherence" as widely as possible to influence others, they
chose a spot just ten miles west of the geographic center of the Lower
48 states.

[FairfieldLife] Darkness Returning ??

2006-06-06 Thread george_deforest
What happened to rising Sat Yuga? Apparently dark clouds are upon us
once again ... thus this urgent letter from Vedic City. Raja Wynne
expresses "grave concern" over the next few weeks? Can anyone explain
this?

[text of email message 6/6/6 11AM]
Dear Maharishi Vedic City Community,

There will be a Town Meeting this Thursday, June 8th, at 8 p.m. in
the main lecture hall of Headley Hall. (Headley Hall is located on
Mansion Drive, behind RajaWynne's house.)

The purpose of this meeting is to finalize our plans for immediately
beginning group flying at convenient locations in and around
Maharishi Vedic City.

The Fairfield Sidha community will be holding a similar meeting the
same evening for the same purpose.

As everyone knows, the United States was one of the countries adopted
by International for the purpose of creating an invincible nation
free from war and all problems. The way to achieve this is group
practice of the TM Sidhi program.

Recently Raja Wynne has expressed grave concern about the well-being
of our country over the next few weeks. We need to respond to the
challenge of these times by doing our utmost to avert any dangers to
our country or any wrong-doing by our country.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Thursday night.

Jai Guru Dev

[FairfieldLife] Kai Druhl stirs things up in Smith Center, Kansas

2006-05-24 Thread george_deforest

Maharishi meets the Bible Belt

Posted 5/23/2006 12:19 AM ET
By Judy Keen, USA TODAY

SMITH CENTER, Kan. The land is flat, roads are straight and churches
are plentiful in this town of 1,800 near the geographic center of the
USA's lower 48 states.

So here in traditional Kansas, the recent purchase of land by
representatives of the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi to build what they're
calling a World Capital of Peace just outside town where
meditators will send "waves of coherence" across the country has
many residents riled.

The group plans to spend at least $15 million to erect 12-15 buildings
for a retreat, training center and residences.

"Some people call them a cult, and some little old ladies are locking
their doors," says farmer Bryce Wiehl, 50. "You're in the Bible Belt,
and this is a Hindu-based religion. People don't like that idea."

The maharishi's followers practice transcendental meditation, silently
focusing on a mantra to achieve what they call a state of pure
consciousness. They believe TM has the power to reduce stress and
crime, help end poverty and create peace.

Positive energy or a 'cult'?

Those beliefs are "not compatible with Christianity," says Greg Judy
of Faith Community Bible Church. He's one of nine pastors who wrote to
the editor of the Smith County Pioneer warning that they will compete
with what everyone here calls "the TMers" for residents' "eternal souls."

Not everyone is upset. Mayor Randy Archer says the town is "very
divided ... but we're looking at it with open eyes, open minds."

Archer says he doesn't know enough about the TMers "to really make any
judgments." People around town, he says, "are going to make their own
conclusions, and so be it."

Burke Phelps, president of First National Bank, says, "Sometimes
people forget that this country is based on freedom of religion. If
what they want is peace and understanding, I'm all for it. We need to
wait and give these people a chance. I don't see anything scary."

Eric Michener, 54, who is helping coordinate the TM project, says all
his group wants is a chance.

"The community has reacted perhaps in a traditional way to any outside
idea: with apprehension, some fear but basically not out of any
knowledge," he says. "I've heard people say we are some type of
satanic cult. I would love to meet with anyone who is concerned about
what we are really about."

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of the transcendental meditation
movement, became famous in the 1960s, when his followers included
celebrities such as the Beatles. He's now somewhere between 89 and 95
and living in Holland.

In 1971, he conceived a university now called the Maharishi University
of Management in Fairfield, Iowa. In 2001, his followers incorporated
Vedic City just outside Fairfield.

The maharishi also is building "peace palaces" around the world where
meditators try to reduce crime and conflict. They are planned for New
York City, Minneapolis and Denver; they're already open in Houston,
Bethesda, Md., and Lexington, Ky.

Maharishi supporters founded the Natural Law Party in 1992. Its
leader, John Hagelin, has run for president three times and heads the
U.S. Peace Government that will be headquartered here.

The World Capital of Peace won't be a traditional government. Instead,
it will include buildings for training and meditating and a broadcast
center, according to its website.

Michener says Smith Center was chosen because it's close to the USA's
center. Construction will begin later this year, but plans and the
final price tag are fluid, he says.

The TMers originally bought 480 acres here, but problems acquiring
water rights prompted them to recently buy an additional 600 acres.
Michener says 300 meditators will use the retreat facility to "create
waves of coherence that will benefit everybody in society." The site's
central location will allow those waves to spread across the USA, he says.

The current plans probably wouldn't be a big economic boon for Smith
Center, Michener says. Eventually, local farmers might want to grow
organic produce to market with crops produced by the TMers, he says,
and a biodiesel plant might be built someday.

Smith Center's population is shrinking and aging. It has lost more
than 100 residents since 2000, 5% of its population. The biggest
employer is an RV manufacturer with about 150 workers. Archer doesn't
know if the newcomers will help the economy. "We hope so, but there's
no way of knowing," he says.

Praying it won't happen

Opponents of the TMers' plans organized a community meeting a few
weeks ago. Several hundred people showed up to hear critics of the
group from Fairfield, including Kai Druhl, a former professor at the
maharishi's university who has left the TM movement, and Greg
Crawford, pastor of Jubilee International Ministries.

"People in Smith Center need to be cautious," Crawford says in an
interview. The presence of the maharishi's followers, he says, "is
going to have an effect on the spirit

in his book, Tony Nader writes about his correlations
between the various devatas and specific brain regions.

i think its a mistake to think of these deities
as somehow seperate entities...ultimately they are
just organizing principles...aspects of the one Self.

but this would be a Unity POV...it would appear
differently (and yet also true!) in GC, or CC.

"The message is that the individual is essentially Cosmic,
and all that is to be known anywhere in the universe
is encoded in the DNA of every cell in the human physiology.
This means that all the knowledge, all the intelligence,
all the organizing power displayed in the whole creation
is available to the individual within his own mind and body."
