just changing the thread subject does not cause it to bifurcates.
It bifurcates or not depending to whom you reply in the tree
structure,
meaning is the reply is to the parent or to the child, a reply to
the child will cause it to bifurcates.

[FairfieldLife] super radiance fw

2006-07-13 Thread kabbalist1
[ A FW message ]

Dear Sidha and Governor Friends,

This past Tuesday, July 11th, we hosted a lovely Guru Purnima
Celebration as did all of the Maharishi Enlightenment Centers around
the world in conjunction with the Grand Celebration with Maharishi
in Holland.

During the Celebration, Maharhishi charged all of us to attain the
national super radiance number for each country and build peace
colonies to accommodate the Yogic Flyers who wish to participate.
There is a plan for 9 such colonies in the United States,
accommodating 200 Yogic Flyers each to attain our super radiance
number of 1730.

Locally we are encouraging all Yogic Flyers to participate in group
program at the most convenient location for you. As Governors and
Sidhas we are all aware of the influence of our collective program
and now is the time to come together, like a family, and bring peace
to our nation and world.

We will be in touch very soon as the plans unfold and details
refined, but for now there are 3 locations in Fairfield County where
group program is available:

Greenwich Maharishi Enlightenment Center: Our new office at 200
Railroad has a proper vastu orientation which is a requirement for
the group program location. It is already established and we can
start now. There has been a dedicated group program for many years
in Greenwich and you are very welcome, deeply encouraged to join
us.

Weston Maharishi Enlightenment Center/Nevas Vastu Home: We can
arrange for group program in this beautiful and nourishing home of
Bernie and Terry Nevas.

Greater Bridgeport: We are locating a place for group program in
the Fairfield/Bridgeport area, but for now we can gather at Kathy's
house in Stratford which has the proper east orientation.

To participate please call Kathy at either 203-629-2049 or 203-256-
9705 or you can respond to this email.

To get the latest news and inspiration, including Maharishi speaking
each day, you can watch the ongoing planning sessions in Holland.
You can access it by going to the Maharishi Channel site at:
www.mou.org . This site will also let you know when previous
broadcasts of the Grand Celebration and past planning sessions are
being broadcast.

You can also access the live broadcasts via www.globalcountry.org.

At the Grand Celebration on July 11th, Maharishi spoke briefly:

"The world has been blessed for all these long years...today we are
offering to Guru Dev...the supreme gift...of the Constitution of the
Universe. The result has already started to be seen that the
countries are beginning to loose their negativity and shortcomings.
Already in one country, Holland, we see the sign of Invincibility.
And this we offer to Guru Dev...Today, in offering all that we have,
to the source of all that we have, we are really blessed...We offer
to Guru Dev, all of our achievements, and all of our future
achievements for the world--permanent peace on earth."

It is our joy and honor to participate in creating coherence for the
world, peace on earth.
Please contact me for information on how we can all come together to
do what we are blessed to do. Thank you and I wish you all joy.

yes, under the circumstances Israel needs to put some money in order
to defend itself. It's military had significant budgets cuts. Seeing
the situation today, I'm not sure it was a smart move.

Dixon,
I concur with that, Bevan always seemed to me as a 'yes man' kind
of guy, very loyal to Mahesh, loyal to his self intrest as well, i'm
sure. :)
despite my criticism of him, i think he added stability to the
movement in it's first phase, but maybe he should go now and let
some real creative thinking to happen. one has to wonder.

[FairfieldLife] Re: Palestinians & terrorism

2006-07-13 Thread kabbalist1
Over the past decade, the United States has given about $1.5 billion
in aid to the Palestinians, mostly through aid groups.
The only thing Palestinians did with the money is funding more
terrorism.
The Palestinian's thirst for blood overpass any rational thinking;
how sad.

Looks like Islam and Muslims are hijacked by it's own religious

An Explosive Fatwa Is Issued in Egypt, As Wave of Edicts Grows in
the War

By YOUSSEF IBRAHIM - Special to the Sun
April 11, 2006

The effervescent satellite network Al Jazeera put its spotlight last
week on the maddening world of fatwas, those Islamic religious
edicts riling the lives of believers and nonbelievers from one end
of the world to the other. Remember, September 11 was the result of
a fatwa by Osama bin Laden, Ayman al-Zawahri, and assorted other so-
called Muslim scholars decreeing a pact to fight "Crusaders and
Jews."

Ever since this momentous attack on America, Islamic fatwas
multiplied. Many simply dictate lifestyle choices for Muslims.
Others, however, tell them to wage jihad against various ills and
targets, in the name of Allah. When originating with a weighty
source, a fatwa can be deadly.

Among the wave of fatwas already out there, some authorize suicide
bombings, forbid participation in voting or elections by Muslims
living in the West, void marriage between spouses who practice
intercourse in the nude (this one from Egypt), and ban the exchange
of seasons' greetings between Muslims and nonbelievers, to cite a
few.

Frivolous fatwas have affected people's lifestyles and mind-sets,
including a ruling against the Arab version of "Who Wants To Be a
Millionaire," forbidden by Islam as a form of gambling; a fatwa
banning beauty pageants in front of panels of male judges; one
demanding that male soccer players wear long trousers to hide their
skin; a ban on watching solar eclipses, and another against
bullfights. Interestingly, no fatwas were ever issued banning female
circumcision.

This past week, Al Jazeera carried a most explosive one: an edict
from Egypt's highest Islamic jurist, Sheik Ali Gomaa, decreeing that
the exhibition of any statues is sinful, as is sculpture and those
who practice it - going all the way back to Pharaonic temples, Greek
and Roman sculptures, and Christian images spanning several
centuries, ever since the dawn of history.

Should we prep for a Taliban-style orgy in Egypt? Melting gold
statues of King Tut (Tutankhamen is his full name); smashing
Cleopatra images; dynamiting the magnificent temples of Karnak;
blowing up the Valleys of the Kings and Queens in Luxor; bulldozing
the majestic Fila temple; burning Roman, Greek, and early Christian
icons, and sacking treasures of civilization in Egyptian museums up
and down the Nile Valley?

Sheik Gomaa is no lightweight. To many believers, his words are
tantamount to marching orders. He was appointed grand mufti
(jurisprudent) by none other than Egypt's president, Hosni Mubarak.
Several weighty religious figures rushed to his support.

Left standing, this fatwa is a declaration of war, more so as it has
been endorsed by the most towering Muslim religious figure a

Jim, what you wrote make sense that resonate with my understanding
of TM as well, but with all due respect, lets not forget that Vaj
has hands on and knowledge on both (or more) ways , and other
meditation methods (including TM), while most of the people here are
more TM oriented. So objectively he has more means of making correct
observations.

I guess, if WMD was found in Iraq all the nay sayers would have a
different sentiment regarding the current results. I see both Saddam
regime and US have their take in being responsible for this war,
(also the UN lack of balls)
in any case, i don't think there is any doubt that Saddam is a mass

[FairfieldLife] Re: I have a bit of wisdom

2005-05-01 Thread kabbalist1

You brought good points. now
if MMY is mere business man as some claim or as you claim
he is doing well as their seems to be clients coming
and going according to their needs.
if MMY is a spiritual man who is concerned with world peace etc
he could do better, but remember it's not entirely up to him.

no one can force others to be spiritual ( spirituality law # 7 ) :D)

building on your street in Watchitoochee, and you want to build a
Saks Fifth. Now that's because you can see that 25 years down the
line there might possibly be a need for a Saks because of all the
rich people in your daydream who came to Watchitoochee for the
incredible natural mud baths. Only noone knows of the mudbaths,
except you, and the crickets. The Saks is based on many premises
like a house of cards, and therefore is not even in the ballpark of
reality, let alone practicality. No, instead, one needs to focus on
the present, and for Watchitoochee, that would be first, making some
sort of small clinic where the mudbaths flow, and then maybe a small
bed and breakfast, and then setting the conditions.

megopolis of pundits along the ganges, and yet, he has, no money,
clout, land, or pundits. Towards that goal he has a small patch of
bubbling mud (TM), and many products based upon it (Sidhis, yagyas,
etc). But even with a loyal following, all the daydreams from Raam
Mudra, World's Tallest Skyscrapers filled with pundits, world
governments with crowned kings, rebuilding the world free of southern
entrances, wow, all these things, might have been the equivalent of a
strip mall opening in Watchitoochee, all towards the grand opening of
the Saks (Pundit supermegopolis).
>
> So much depending on so much, is so much...maya. That's all I'm
saying. The truth is there is no need for a Saks in Watchitoochee
near a mudbath at all whatsoever. That's just ego. And ego is not
enough of a reason to build up Watchitoochee. There's already a Saks
elsewhere. Wisdom would tell one to be satisfied that one even had a
mudbath with a clinic, and a B&B would be supremely awesome, and if
people built up a strip mall next door based upon it that would be
supreme good fortune, but Saks will never have an outlet in
Watchitoochee, population of 35. The few residents believe fully in
Saks due to their total desire, but that doesn't mean that their
desire is in any way close to the truth, and Saks just ain't gonna
happen there.
