"A" would be people playing "game theory". See the BBC documentary
series "The Trap" by Adam Curtis ("Power of Nightmares" and "Century of
the Self") for that. Meditators should be above being trapped in "game
theory."

"B" is a safe out and what most sane people do on most other forums
on the Internet.

Bottom line: FFL really is a Funny Farm Forum.

Solution: perhaps "A" people need to change their mantra to "ram"
(rhymes with Tom) to calm their vata derangement.

[FairfieldLife] Short Quiz

2013-04-29 Thread turquoiseb
Choose your answer from the following choices:

A. My statements about another poster's words, actions,
veracity, motivations, or state of mine are right, and
reflect reality. If the other poster disagrees, he/she is
wrong, and is probably lying, insane, or demonstrating
low character traits and malevolent intent towards me.

B. My statements about another poster's words, actions,
veracity, motivations, or state of mind are my opinion,
based on my purely subjective analysis. If the other
poster disagrees, he/she merely has a different opinion.

Hint: One of these answers is sane. The other...not so much.
