Sherry, I am so sorry to hear about little Trish. Thank God these little ones know they are loved because of you. I just don't know where you find the strength to go through it over and over. At least they are going to a place where this horrible disease can not follow. Sherry, I'm so sorry you lost Trish. That happened to one of the kitties at the Katrina shelter I volunteered at for a few months. Frenzy had just gotten adopted, and then they found out she was full of cancer. It seemed so unfair that she had been through so much already, and then that. I am very sorry for your loss!! Our Cat, Gray Kitty, is only 1 year old. He and his two brothers were born in our home on September 6, 2007. The mama cat had tested negative for Feline Leukemia and his two brothers have continued to test negative. We also had his two brothers blood typed in case he needed another blood transfusion, due to anemia. His brothers are Type A, which is the most common, and Gray Kitty is of course Type B, which is the most uncommon. This poor guy has had so many strikes against him, but keeps on fighting. Sherry, I was saddened to read that Trish has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. These kittens are so special, Each day we have with them is precious. She knew she was loved and that is what matters.
