My guess is that you just need to bump the version of boost on which monotone depends: boost is now up to version 1.35 (or 1.41). Thank you for the note. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do much about it for some time. The only mac I had access to was my laptop, and it had a hard drive crash early in the year. I won't be able to replace it for a few more months. To fink-devel: If anyone wants/needs to update my packages between now and when I've got the ability to do so myself, feel free to do so. I'd appreciate a note that there were changes so I can read through them. ~crh pgpzJElAk0glX.pgp Description: PGP signature -- Download Intel#174; Parallel Studio Eval Try the new software tools for yourself. [Fink-devel] mplayer udpates (was: Re: mplayer-1.0.0rc2-1011)

I plan to submit these to the fink tracker soon, just got to test them on 10.6 64 bit and 10.4. Please let me know how you go. Looks good so far, except libdvdnav4 is definitely broken from a packaging point of view. libdvdnav.4.dylib is already packaged, in libdvdnav/libdvdnav4-shlibs, so that package should be updated to require libdvdread.4 instead of making a whole new one, since that breaks upgrades. The x264 info file is named wrong, too, it should be libx264-dev.info. Oop, now I see, you were trying to make a new package over x264 but what you have doesn't upgrade cleanly over x264. This is getting tricky since the old package also has gtk libraries, it's going to take some work to make something that updates cleanly, I'll get back to you. Sorry, I'm not quite sure what I should do to fix this. The libdvdnav4 package is described as broken in the libdvdread.3 descpackaging. It's also a much older version that what mplayer requires. Both libdvdnav and libdvdread seem to have had major incompatible changes since their last fink packages. I named the newly packaged libdvdread.4 to fit with libdvdread.3. libdvdnav is also currently major version 4, so I called it libdvdnav4. Could you please advise the correct way to name these? Thanks. The x264 info file is named wrong, too, it should be libx264-dev.info. Oop, now I see, you were trying to make a new package over x264 but what you have doesn't upgrade cleanly over x264.
