A build of rpm-4.0.4-1 failed on Fink 0.5.1.cvs, 0.12.1 running on

Should I rebuild kdelibs?

Relevant info:

Package manager version: 0.12.1
Distribution version: 0.5.1.cvs

Any help appreciated. Incidentally, I have run fix-fink successfully.

TIA,

Hrm, only thing I can think of that would cause this is maybe if your qt
ended up getting half-built against the wrong libpng...

What do you get when you run the following commands?

  fink list -i qt3
  otool -L /sw/lib/qt3-plugins/imageformats/libqpng.dylib
Also, what happens when you run '/sw/bin/uic' by itself on the command-line?

This would be the problem, your qt is linked against the wrong libpng.

You could try running fix-fink (I'm not sure if it looks deep into
/sw/lib), but it should be fixed by running 'fink rebuild qt3'.

This is the Java problem i mentioned a few days ago on the list. (it

after about a week of searching, i finally came across something useful
that allowed me to get it to compile. here's what i needed to do to
get it working:

1) change all instances of 'uint32_t' to 'u_int32_t' in
src/protocols/msn/msn.h and src/protocols/msn/switchboard.h (there are
only about 4 instances of it, but it needs to be done so gcc
understands what it means).

2) set the CLFAGS environment variable to -no-cpp-precomp before you
run ./configure. this will ensure the preprocessor behaves like the
GNU version. (if you're using bash, you just need to do 'export
CFLAGS=-no-cpp-precomp '

that's it. hope it works for you.
