Thanks for the report.  The conflicts in hdf5.8-oldapi-bin weren't what 
I meant them to be.

Try a selfupdate in a bit and there will be a new revision (-2) which 
fixes this.

Oops.  Over-synced that from 10.7/ .  Fixed now.

   Fixed on both trees. Apparently that fix wasn't sync'd to the info file in 
the 10.7 tree.
