Re: Thank You Secret Santa Amy Evers
This message is from: "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Amy, Thanks so much for the wonderful gifts. Last week I was looking at a website with those cute little rubber fjords made into ornaments and was lamenting that I hadn't gotten one for the tree, especially since I have an Icelandic horse ornament and I didn't want Tyra to feel left out. My tree's still up so I hung it right in the front. Tyra will really appreciate the professional Fiskar mane scissors (I won't mention what I've been using). I've been giving her clicker training lessons to hold her head still for trimming, so she should be good to go! Maybe now Tyra won't be embarrassed if I send in photos of her! Re: another awesome video
This message is from: "Curtis Pierce" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Hi, This act by Lorenzo is truly amazing. I hope to one day see it live. It does remind me of an entire show that we saw last year that I highly recommend. It is Cavalia! This is an expensive show, but it is worth it. You can get more information about the show at: http://www.cavalia.net/index.aspx?lang=EN-CA. It looks like they are currently in Irvine, CA until the end of January. After that, they are headed to Europe. Take Care and Have a Happy New Year!! Curt Pierce and Marsha Korose Mathias, WV http://www.deepcreekfjords.com/ PS. We and a few of our friends have some Fjords for sale. The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
Horse transporters
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Forwarding a message from Linda Taylor, Lisa, a little help please. I want to respond to the Fjord Digest but don't see how to do it. The "transporter" question. I used All State and they were fine and highly recommended. They brought Boombah from Colorado to Cal at a competitive price and I was pleased with their service. Nationwide was not recommended. Hope this helps. Cheerio, Linda The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw

Re: Transporter question
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] I used All State Horse Express to bring Duffers here to CA from CO. They kept me posted about time and were on time. Duffers arrived safe and sound. He was calm and relaxed. I would use them again. Jo Wilgus The FjordHorse List archives can be found at: http://tinyurl.com/rcepw
Santa's Visit to Field of Dreams
This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] In a message dated 12/25/2006 7:33:48 AM Pacific Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > Wow!! What an awesome Christmas present and a heartwarming story! Your > place really is the "Field of Dreams (Come True)" > > Cherie > Yup, it was truly awesome. Everything went exactly as we had planned - it doesn't always work that way!! The folks who have horses in my barn (not all Fjords either) are absolutely the 'salt of the earth' kind of people. After the party was over and everyone had left, I cleaned up my office, put things back to normal and headed up to my house to bask in the 'warm & fuzzy' feeling. It had been a pretty rough week here. My full time employee had been sick with the flu so I had been pulling his shift as well as mine (READ - 25 stalls to clean everyday!), plus trying to DO Christmas stuff, throw in having oral surgery on top of everything else and - SHEESH - I think I was a bit weary! I laid down for a nap and did not wake up until 11:30 PM! HMMM - did we have dinner? Nope! Oh well. I went to bed! Seeing the look on Alison's face was worth every bit though! Sandy & Beth - loved the post blizzard pictures! I had been thinking about you when we heard the weather reports. We have friends in Denver and they said that they had measured the snow in their back yard and it was 36" deep. I always make calendars for our friends and family at Christmas, but always have difficulty finding 'snow' pictures for Dec. & Jan. since we hardly ever get the white stuff here. Maybe next year I could 'borrow' some of yours! LOL! Happy New Year to all.
