There were really an impressive number of spectators at the inspection and I'm sure the Fjords won a lot of admirers :) The thing that really impresed me most was the wonderful personality of this breed - I was amazed at how none of the horses were phased at all by all the children running around at ringside, the adjacent playground, etc. I have two Fjords of my own and it still suprised me :) It was wonderful to meet so many Fjord lovers, to finally see Galianna's sire, and to have the opportunity to take pictures of so many gorgeous Fjords! Given the position of authority that chairpersons, president or any other board members or positions of a decision making body. A person in this position needs to be very fair and unbiased and balance in their approach to dealing with the membership of which makes the show. An individual that makes the comment of it being his show seems to me to be a bit more than objective. And the statement of only being able to function at full throttle seems quite unbalanced as well. It only seems that a better process needs to be implemented in the representation of all members and the people put in place that will listen to its members and negotiate on their behalf. This message is from: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hmmm I know it's not exclusively a "Fjord" show, but there has been a show which showcases Fjords (and Haflingers as well) in Central OR (first Prineville, and now Redmond) for 6 years! I have been trying to drag Fjord owners in by the hair since our first show in 2000. This is a two day show with one whole day of driving classes. And it was sometimes pretty embarrassing to have only 3 or 4 locals Fjords show up when there were 20 or more Haflingers... I guess it's because it's a spring show?
