Happy thanksgiving weekend to all.

Just a quick not to let people know about an incredible steal deal on a pair
of fjord geldings. 3 and 4 year old full brothers, light brown duns, out of
Liv by Advent Hill Oliver. About 14 hh, Really well matched team if one
wishes for a team, - I cannot tell one from the other :.

They have been started well, both in harness and under saddle. You can take
them out together or alone under saddle, doing really well. And they both are
pulling tires etc on the ground. HAve not been hitched up together yet but
will be soon. The owner is Dale Hinkle of ND, - he needs to sell, so looking
for a good home for these geldings. VERY reasonable price Actually, I
have tried to talk him up in price, but no go. He just needs for them to go
to a good using home. Here is a real chance to get a great pair for the price
of one. They are totally sound, no problems, just a rare deal for the right
person. Please pass this on. I do not make anything on selling these guys,
just helping out a friend.

Contact me for info etc.

Thanks,

Hello, we have added twp Fjord Geldings to our sales list on our
website: www.bitswheelsranch.com. These geldings are 4 and 3 years
old. The only reason we are selling them is, we intended to use them
for a team, but they did not mature to the same height. Both are brown
dun, and very quiet and easy to work with. We have info on the website
about them and will try to have pictures posted this weekend. Anyone
interested can e-mail me at [EMAIL PROTECTED] or phone 715/479-1552.
Thanks Sherle Monheim in Eagle River, where we are still digging out.of

Gayle,

Coming from you, we really consider this a big
compliment. Thanks! Will pass it on to Craig, as
well - since he's the one who really got them started,
and then taught us how to continue with them.

Both of these fellas are kind quiet, the type of

OK, we're sold - we'll take 'em both :)!! Just
kidding of course. Sure hope someone 'comes out of
the woodwork' on these guys. Maybe one of your
reining students? Maybe the gal who rode Glendar the
other night has 'found her match'. I'm still amazed
at how well these big Fjords like Glendar and Lars
handle themselves. Big, clumsy work horses they're
not!

Has finally cooled down some here - hopefully down
your way as well.

Had forgotten to tell you about Sindar's huge walk -
he quit doing his 'singlefoot thing' last fall and
started with the 'huge walk' instead. Has always had
a long, loose walk - even in his pen - but it got
bigger this year. The only time I've had him catch a
toe with it was when he was shod with new shoes
without rolled edges. The farrier usually files the
edges off round on his front shoes - he forgot to
once, and ol' Sindar was a bit stumbly in front. So
far as I know he's never stepped on himself - I've
never seen any evidence of it.

WELL DONE Fjord geldings for sale

 Hi List,

This is an advertisement, so if that bothers you,
 please ignore it.

We are selling our two Fjord geldings. Both are five
years old, have been ridden(Western) since they were
three. At three they had 60 days professional
training to get them started right; then we worked
with a trainer off and on for the rest of the year.
At four they were sent for more training for two
weeks. They have been ridden on trails, on the beach,
in the Libby show(twice), in the Libby parade(twice).
Both were ground driven as yearlings and two-year-olds
 - -were shown in the ground driving classes at Libby
both years. They are both gentlemen - are hobble
broke, trailer well, clip, bathe, etc., etc. They're
ready to go, eager to learn whatever you have to teach
 them.

They are currently residing at Field of Dreams
Fjordhorses in Eugene, Oregon. Contact Gayle Ware -
[EMAIL PROTECTED] - for information or to have a look
 at them.

Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to expand on the above information regarding these two geldings
that are for sale. Both of these fellas are an absolute delight. They have
been started RIGHT. They have been here for a couple of weeks and neither of
them has made one wrong move! I have ridden both of them, have given lessons
on them to several different students, even dressed one of them English and
took him over some jumps. In other words, I have 'put them to the test' and
they have passed with flying colors!

As an example, I put them in the groom room to tidy up their haircuts. Mary
told me that they were not used electric clippers. Anyone who has ever tried
to clip a 5 year old for the first time knows what a hassle that is!! Each
of these boys reacted in the same manner. When I turned the clippers on,
their heads came up and they asked me if those 'things' were going to eat
them for lunch?? THAT WAS IT. They didn't blow up, sit back, get frantic.
I assured them that I wouldn't let the 'monsters' hurt them and they said OK!
I proceeded to trim bridle paths, EARS, faces, and legs. NO BIG DEAL! I
was really impressed with their dispositions at that point!!

Sindar is 14.2 and is sired by Anne Appleby's stallion, Misha. He is a cutie
and is very smooth to ride. He has a huge walk, over strides by at least a
foot! He might make a very nice dressage candidate. He already goes nicely
western (and jumps now too).

Glendar is 15.2 and is quite handy for a big guy. He has a dandy balanced
stop and executes some pretty nice rollbacks! He has a great extended trot
with lots of impulsion.

Both of these fellas are kind quiet, the type of horse that everyone is
looking for. They will make someone wonderful companions and are ready to go!
