Anne most of us feel we do not charge enough as the Fjord is still a rare
breed here in the USA. Price depends on line and abilities. Jean

Hei Anne Berit,

hyggelig aa se noen fra Norge paa denne listen!

You bet I was surprised to see how expensive Fjords are in this country,
too! Just wait until you hear the breeding fee for the stallions :-)

Dagrun,

Norwegian girl in San Jose, California will pick up my fjord Saturday if all
goes well, then I'll tell you more

I've been surfing the net and seen several fjord-pages and one
thing surprises me much - what you pay for a fjord! Is it normal
to pay ap. 5000,- $ for an average fjord? In Norway you'll get an
 average fjord for ap. 1500 - 2000 $ I even saw fjords
adverticed for 6800,- $!!! That was a mare, looking quite
ordinary and they didn't say anything about what she had done or
if she'd had foals that had done anything special.

Please be patient with my english, I'm Norwegian and not an
 expert in english. :o)
