Hi Jennie-

I've never heard of a mycotoxin, but the folds of skin in her photos look
like what happens to an obese person when they lose a lot of weight. You say
Bonnie is on a diet -- is it possible she's shed more pounds than you are aware
of? You can get an approximate weight by using a tape. As far as the other
bumps, they could be cysts. Have you talked to the vet?

Oh yes, forgot to add that she's eating normally, seems her old lazy self.
But she's so lazy that I don't know if I KNOW her enough to KNOW if she's down?
But I didn't ride her today. But I did yesterday afternoon, and she seemed
spunkier than normal, gave a few bucks when we cantered!

I'm waiting for more news, I guess a lady here in MI had this with every
horse on her farm last year? Something with molds in the feed? I have not yet
had
the vet out. I just noticed them today, I was going to bath her, and grabbed
the camera to capture this "strange" thing happening to her. After I saw this
with her chest area, I did a thorough check of her body. Will keep ya'all
posted.

Thanks, Jennie

That is very strange! is she active and eating normally? everything else
seem normal? I assume you have had your veterinarian look at her. I tried
to look up Mycotoxis , mycotoxicosis, etc. in the Merck Manual but found
nothing that would fit. Do you have a vet school near you? I wo;uld take
her to a vetschool if one was handy, or a good vedt clinic!
