Janurary is the month Alaskans go to Mexico and Hawaii! But, by February the sun has warmth and the days are growing long enough to enjoy some time out on the trails. By March, the long sunny days can give you a suntan, with the snow, and the weather up in Fairbanks is wonderful..we have our dog sled races and folks often run around in shirt sleeves, altho it can still be below zero at night some days. By March 21 we're even with everybody else in daylight and from then on the sun comes earlier and earlier, with light all night by May through July. so we have lots of nice weather and plenty of sunlight for half the year! Temps can get up to 90's in the summer for a few days, generally in the 60's and 70's, perfect for trail riding! Jean in Fairbanks, Alaska, looking forward to Dec. 21 when we start gaining our daylight back! +10F Jean Ernest Fairbanks, Alaska mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
