Have you looked at OpenAMF? http://openamf.com I used it on a project a couple of years ago, and it works great. It's free, and our developers evaluated it and found it to be functionally indistinguishable from Flash Remoting. You'll want to consider something along the lines of Flash Remoting for such a project. When choosing a remoting option, price and platform are the key components to consider. Hey, I need help for deciding the architect for project which is an application Application would get installed on win/mac , standalone/network scenario. Flash is fixed as front end, and need to decide middle tire +db. Which db should I use which support all above mention platform and scenario?
