Thanks for the ideas. Apollo was the first thing that popped into my mind too when our users asked :) this app is a prime candidate for Apollo anyway. It's an internal web app, so we have a good amount of control over our environment. I did find an ActiveX control, I was figuring I could embed it in the HTML wrapper that I use for the Flex app, and then communicate with it from Flex via JavaScript, of course I'm not even sure that's possible with the control that I found.
