Re: [Flexradio] VAC & vCOM
I am running vcom, vac, and vista business and it seems to play well. I only used two port combinations in vcom - 4/5 & 3/14 - which were not defaults and it is working without issue...so far. I have not had any problems with the configurator. Looking at the n8vbvcom.inf file it appears to have the proper pairing that I set up. So it would appear the configurator is doing its job. don - kx9q ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
[Flexradio] X2TR and Pwr Out
I have the SDR-1000 and use a small linear with it. Does anyone know of a way to have the SDR software reduce the power to say 35 watts when the X2TR button is depressed which engages the linear? I am trying to avoid an accidental overdriving as I usually run "barefoot" and sometime wish to switch to the linear. [Flexradio] Need power calibration procedure for FLEX-5000A
I've already emailed Dudley on this. If someone else has the power calibration procedure for the 5000A, I'd like to have it. My power is about 10 to 20% low. 73, Steve N6VL ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/

No. The FLEX-5000 comes with it's own ASIO driver. -Tim -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of FireBrick Sent: Saturday, February 09, 2008 12:23 PM To: FlexRadio List Subject: [Flexradio] still need ASIo drivers??? [Flexradio] CW Skimmer, Wideband mode
Is anyone using CW Skimmer in the wideband mode , using the trial version ? I see the Flex 5000 is grayed out. I do have it working in the 3Khz mode but it only places a call on the QRG I'm listening on, it does place a dot at other CW signals I see on the waterfall but never a call. What am I missing to have the wideband working ? Re: [Flexradio] CW Skimmer
Thanks guys. I can't remember how I purchased it anymore, only that it went through RegSoft. I sent Eugene an password request with attached a proof of purchase. Re: [Flexradio] VAC & vCOM
Hi Ray, I also remember that there was an .INI file associated with vCOM. You can edit it to change anything that would be done by the configurator. I think that in ancient times (circa: 2005) we had to edit the com pairs in the .ini file before the configurator was born :-) Perhaps the Vista folks can edit the .ini to setup whatever they need in vCOM? de ken n9vv Ray, K9DUR wrote: > Tim, > > My experience with vCom under Vista is that vCom itself works well. > However, the configurator does not work properly. [Flexradio] Interesting problem with WSJT
I commented a few weeks ago, that I could not get WSJT to run properly with my 1 watt SDR1000, in that it would crash quite quickly after starting, and I could not find the answer. I now have my Atlas/janus/Ozy board running and controlling the SDR1000 and miracles, WSJT appears to be stable, so far it has been running for a couple of hours monitoring /showing the RTTY contest activity on 20meters. wth a very good waterfall, (I wish other programs could match Joe Taylor's WSJT )waterfall. Sure it is optimised for EME but it is easy to see signals. Today I set the background noise level as 1db on the WSJT screen and it varies upwards from there, depending on the strength of the incoming RTTy signal. Whereas before it would be set at 1db and then take sudden dives down to -20db which completely ruined the decoding. Can someone please, try to enlighten me why, WSJT should be more stable via the Atlas platform, than on an XP computer or am I dreaming and it is just plain dumb luck.
