[Flexradio] Flex radio app
All, Even if you could port over powersdr to a android or a iwhatever, wouldn't the latency from and to the cell tower be too great to be an effective application? 4g throughout would be preferred over the legacy 3g network, but I would like to know if the latency to the towers and back make this not technically feasible. As most phone applications are Java, you would need a good Java developer, if it is technically feasible. I would pay for the app. 73, Robert KB6QXM "Ham Radio is for people that have copious spare time" ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
[Flexradio] High SWR, why
Last night I had high SWR over 25:1 on every antenna every band on bypass. I figured my antennas fell down. This was after I used the 5000 tuner, the went back to bypass. I went to auto tune again, then back to bypass and all was normal This ever happen to anyone Burt ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
[Flexradio] Remote operation
I'm experimenting with remotely controlling my 5000A, using PSDR 2.2.3, VAC 4.9, Teamviewer 7 and latest version of Skype. It mostly works, and from my laptop I can remotely achieve full control of the 5000, just as expected. The problem is that when I talk into the headset attached to my remote computer (laptop) the incoming receiver audio almost mutes, i.e. drops dramatically in level. Rather like a slow AGC action, it then recovers after a few seconds when I stop talking. The other problem occurs when I try monitoring my transmit audio, using the MON button. Bad feedback occurs, so clearly there is something wrong with my setup. Any ideas?
