Was trying to use diversity receive on a split pileup on my Flex 5K with 2nd
rcvr, and accidentally transmitted on top of the DX.

So.how do I use both receivers (with Sync ON) in diversity mode and use the
mouse to click the transmit frequency for where the DX is listening? I
don't want to use the XIT.

I must be tired, because I just can't figure it out.

Thanks in advance.

If I remember correctly, there was a code change in 4.12 that fixed a
threading bug that made VAC work more efficiently on multi-core CPUs.
But that was the only significant change between 4.11 and 4.12 that
would affect PowerSDR usage.

I have seen this symptom with DM780, FLDigi, and MMVARI. When testing

what to do. Don't forget DM-780 was never designed to be stand alone, it
requires HRD to be running to make it work. The server.

Subject: Re: [Flexradio] Using Digital Master 780 with Flex 5000a

Everything I have done to test still points to DDUtil. I am running the
current version of DDUtil 3. The computer is a Dell Optiplex 745 with a
Core 2 Duo running at 2.4GHz and 4GB of memory. The OS is Windows 7
Ultumate 64bit. I use Com0Com. Not sure how to tell what version it is,
but
it was recently downloaded from the website, so it should be current. Not
really seeing a problem with DPCs that I know of. When checked, it is
usually around 1200. Operating mode is set to normal, and buffers are all
set to the default.

I have seen this symptom with DM780, FLDigi, and MMVARI. When testing
DM780
without using DDUtil, it copies just fine.

I have seen 2 instances where DDU was drawing excessive CPU utilization
(like 90%) and it obviously was stressing the system to the point that
anything with a DPC had to wait a long while to getr control back.

I replaced DDU2 with DDU3 and the problems were fixed.

Is it possible that DDUtil could be involved with this issue? When I

DDUtil, everything seems to work as expected. However, I can't

how this utility would cause a problem with the audio.

I believe it is a little more basic than that. I tried FLDigi and

MMVari

and they all show the same symptom when coping PSK31.
