Re: [Flexradio] FLex-1500 ...loss of audio
Does the problem occur after transmitting? - Original Message - Subject: [Flexradio] FLex-1500 ...loss of audio From: "Ray Bahm" Date: 4/2/14 8:36 pm To: FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz I have a similar problem ... Often when I turn-on my 1500 the audio output from the phones jack on the front of the 1500 is silent. THe audio shows on the screen ok. I've only once had the audio turn-on and then quit after about 3 seconds. The only fix I've found is to turn everything off, including the computer and reboot, and restart from scratch. This usually works. If not I just try again. ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/

[Flexradio] Flex 5K and VAC
Using the Flex 5K, PSDR 2.7.2. Using VAC 4.13, WIN7 64 bit CW Skimmer and MMTTY. Things work fine for a while then I change bands or some other minor adjustment and the dreaded Whoops something went wrong with the audio. Re: [Flexradio] RE VAC pay vs free option
It is good to have options There are many hundreds if not thousands that have VAC working fine, they just don't speak up with good news. If you are unsure, VAC might be the way to go as it does have all the Wiki's written around it. [Flexradio] RE VAC pay vs free option
I had problems with buying VAC as well and found a FREE alternative that works with no issues. You can use the VB VAC or the HiFi VB VAC. With the soundcard I have I use the HiFi with surround sound speakers and have fantastic full range audio. I also found that in the Soundcard setup - Recording Devices Properties - Listen - I checked the Listen to this device option. This provides a sample of audio to the speakers so you can hear what's going on. http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Cable/ Jim Rodgers - WW6GUN .-- .-- - --. ..- -. Re: [Flexradio] FlexRadio Digest, Vol 108, Issue 2
If you only need a pair of vac cables then try using vbcable It works very well and its free Actually its donation software meaning if you like and use it you should donate a monetary amount Http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/cable/index.htm Or do a search for vb-cable Rick N8SDR -Original Message- From: "flexradio-requ...@flex-radio.biz" Sent: 4/2/2014 1:00 PM To: "flexradio@flex-radio.biz" Subject: FlexRadio Digest, Vol 108, Issue 2 Send FlexRadio mailing list submissions to flexradio@flex-radio.biz To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to flexradio-requ...@flex-radio.biz You can reach the person managing the list at flexradio-ow...@flex-radio.biz When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of FlexRadio digest..." Tried from Eugene's site to pay with PayPal. I keep getting an error generated by Avangate, his CC processor, saying gateway error. So the other option (which I REALLY do not want to do) is to use my CC on the Avangate site itself. I googled that firm, having never heard? of it before and came up with long lists of complaints against Avangate. ?Now I figure many of you have bought VAC. If you used the avangate site w no problems later please let me know off list or heck if you did have an issue let me know that too and how easy it was resolved. I am very paranoid about giving my CC info to sites I don't know and doubly so with someone like Avangate and their list of complaints. Or maybe you used PP with no problem?? ? 73, David, AA9G ex W5DCG and KC9EEV -- Message: 2 Date: Tue, 1 Apr 2014 13:29:28 -0700 From: Steven Hess To: FlexRadio reflector Subject: Re: [Flexradio] Trying to buy VAC Message-ID: Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 I'd wait till tomorrow and see if the error goes away and use PP.
