Re: [Flexradio] Did DB reset now can't get Skimmer or Fldigi to work
Zack In PSDr you have VAC 1 assigned to both input and output, you need to assignn output to cable 2. 73 Neal Campbell Abroham Neal LLC On Thu, Jun 19, 2014 at 8:49 PM, wrote: > I am having a frequency calibration problem with my 5000A so I thought > that I would reset the DB and run the built in TRO/IO tests and see if that > would fix the problem. [Flexradio] Did DB reset now can't get Skimmer or Fldigi to work
I am having a frequency calibration problem with my 5000A so I thought that I would reset the DB and run the built in TRO/IO tests and see if that would fix the problem. It did not and my frequency display is still off .500khz after running theGeneral>Calibration routine. Oh well, I will call the Flex HD tomorrow and see what they say. So I went in PSDR (2.7.2.17146) and setup the VAC and CAT controls just the way it was before the DB reset. I keep a file with images of the original setup so that I can just go and reconfig PSDR quickly. Now I am getting no audio to Skimmer or fldigi but I cannot see what I am doing wrong. Could some of you please look a the link below and see what is wrong? I can't figure it out. https://www.flickr.com/photos/10025089@N05/14275964367/ Zack N8FNR ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz To opt out of the Reflector: http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz

Re: [Flexradio] Complete Remote Solution
I use remotehams.com With my 6700. K2CM - Original Message - Subject: [Flexradio] Complete Remote Solution From: "Larry Loen" Date: 6/18/14 4:55 pm To: "FlexRadio Reflector" OK, a while back, I discovered that there is a satisfactory solution for the basic power up / power down of the Flex 6300. Now the question is, exactly what do I need for a complete solution? I presume that having it "internet addressable" simplifies things, but exactly what is needed for the total hardware/software solution? Do I need the "remote rig" kinds of hardware? Can I avoid Skype and like solutions in favor of more direct approaches? What I would like to do is control the rig in some simple manner (ideally, over the 'net but not as ideally, with some local PC interface) and then have relatively simple solutions on "my" end for things like the CW key and the microphone. On the remote side (that is, where the rig is, "the shack"), I'd like to establish bandwidth of a chosen amount and simply transport it over the 'net to my personal machine. I suppose ultimately I do want a decent "mike" on this end, which may introduce some of the other complexity back into things anyhow. I presume that in many/most digital solutions, it should be all software nowadays? I assume I would (selectively) run Ultra VNC and like things so I can control some of the remote (shack) items? [Flexradio] PSDR frequency calibration?
"Hi Zack and all interested. This problem drove me nuts also, until I discovered that if you bring the off frequency WWV signal to the center line on the Panadapter and then press the calibrate button it will then calibrate it to 10 mhz or which wwv frequency that you select. Result is you will then be spot on. 73, Dave Wilson N5dbs" Actually I did try that Dave but no mattter what I do it always comes up off frequency. Going to trya a database reset tonight and if that does not work will call the Flex HD and see what they say.
