The other was due a bad soldered wire in the same cable. If the connector is not fully engaged, the radio goes into transmit. I used to have several in the early '90's but then I grew up. To change the topic slightly, this afternoon I unearthed a collection of info from John Basilotto that I filed away. Flex Radio was a far different company then. And, I will say, one that I had no problem sending real cash money for a Flex5000A when it was still only an ideaI never regretted having to wait for almost a half year before that thing I had paid for finally appeared by my back door.
