Re: [Flexradio] All was well Until

There is some parameter(s) configured in the database that was causing adverse
results. It is hard to say exactly what that specific parameter(s) was without
doing a diff on the two databases. I suspect that you may have had a comport
conflict, like having one software package configured for CAT control and the
other end of the virtual com port pair configured for the PTT port in PowerSDR.

Tim,

I guess the next question maybe what caused the need to reset to factory
defaults? The VAC and VSP Manager software seemed to setup as expected but it
freaked out PowerSDR. Wondering if I got something out of order while setting
up.

Reset the radio back to factory defaults using the feature in the Setup form.

The standard first step after such a major problem.
Is
Delete the database, and create a new one.
That will 'probably' get you going.

you will probably have to re-install VSPm first so you have some
comports to put into the new database.

It's been my experience that it's best to start with a new database.
Install one program
Check it out
Then install the next.

Good luck, we have all been dere done dat and have the gray hairs to
prove it.

Your situation may be different from mine, but I had a similar thing
happen to me once. I had to uninstall everything related to the powersdr
software and reinstall which took care of the problem. You may just want
to do a data base reset first. After that there are those on this list
that know better about the deeper aspects and can help you. Just hollar.
I doubt that the box is the problem.
