Everything I have done to test still points to DDUtil.
 I am running the
current version of DDUtil 3. The computer is a Dell
 Optiplex 745 with a
Core 2 Duo running at 2.4GHz and 4GB of memory. The OS
 is Windows 7
Ultumate 64bit. I use Com0Com. Not sure how to tell
 what version it is,
 but
it was recently downloaded from the website, so it
 should be current. Not
really seeing a problem with DPCs that I know of. When
 checked, it is
usually around 1200. Operating mode is set to normal,
 and buffers are all
 set to the default.

I have seen this symptom with DM780, FLDigi, and
 MMVARI. When testing
 DM780
without using DDUtil, it copies just fine.

I agree that there have been a lot of reports of issues with v4.13, but
I think you went too farin your down grade. Get v4.12 and try it.
V4.09 uses an interrupt method for processing the audio datarather than
the streaming method introduced in 4.10 and in my humble opinion,
perfected in v4.12. There is better (lower) latency with v4.12

If you need help creating the VAC cable definitions, then you can use
this registry file to create 7 VAC channels (6 is the max you can use
with a 5000+RX2 and a 1500 running on the same PC and 1 channel to use
as the Windows default sound device if your PC does not have a sound
card or is one where the input/output lines are not active unless you
have something plugged into it)

If I remember correctly, there was a code change in 4.12 that fixed a
threading bug that made VAC work more efficiently on multi-core CPUs.
But that was the only significant change between 4.11 and 4.12 that
would affect PowerSDR usage.

Everything I have done to test still points to DDUtil. I am running the
current version of DDUtil 3. The computer is a Dell Optiplex 745 with a
Core 2 Duo running at 2.4GHz and 4GB of memory. The OS is Windows 7
Ultumate 64bit. I use Com0Com. Not sure how to tell what version it is, but
it was recently downloaded from the website, so it should be current. Not
really seeing a problem with DPCs that I know of. When checked, it is
usually around 1200. Operating mode is set to normal, and buffers are all
set to the default.

I have seen this symptom with DM780, FLDigi, and MMVARI. When testing DM780
without using DDUtil, it copies just fine.

Hi Bob,

I do understand the relationship of the HRD server and the other HRD
applications. Yes, I do have that checked in DDUtil. All the pieces are
working together. It is just that the copy from PSK from any of the digital

 Here is what I used:

 turn on HRD server)

I've been following your dilemma for a couple of days and I have never
heard you talk about the HRD server. In DDUtil v3 there is a check off
that allows you to turn it on. Without it turned on DM-780 doesn't know
what to do. Don't forget DM-780 was never designed to be stand alone, it
requires HRD to be running to make it work. The server.
