Re: [Flexradio] high pitched squeal Flex 1500
I get it for a fraction of a second on 20m only, when using my Flex 3000. Think it might be my headphones and slight RF in the shack... For now my band of choice is 15m so I'm not so worried ;) Mike G7TWC On 20 September 2011 15:14, Bob McGwier wrote: > Have you somehow set your "IF Offset" in the setup panel to something near > zero? > > There is sometimes a DC offset that dies after transitions. Have you somehow set your "IF Offset" in the setup panel to something near zero? There is sometimes a DC offset that dies after transitions. The slow decay is caused by the large capacitor in the AC coupling. It is gone after a couple of seconds and is not audible or even impacting unless you have zero IF or near so.
